Chandramukhi 2 postponement is a big shock for Skanda

The postponement of Salaar’s release has become the reason for all the chaos on the last weekend of September. Telugu film Skanda in the combination of Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu and Tamil dubbed film, Chandramukhi 2 have been interestingly locked for a clash despite the efforts of Skanda team to avoid competition.

Everyone is aware that both the films Skanda and Chandramukhi 2 were planned for 15th September release and Skanda was postponed to Salaar date and now Chandramukhi 2 is also postponed to the same date with the delay in the Computer Graphics.

Now the weekend of September 28th is packed with multiple releases, if Skanda had stuck to the original date, the film would have enjoyed solo Vinayaka Chavithi festival weekend. Now it has to face the competition again.

Chandramukhi 2, the film will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Directed by P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 is the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil horror comedy Chandramukhi, which starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles.

While Raghava Lawrence will reprise the role of Rajinikanth, Kangana Ranaut will appear in Jyotika’s place along with Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Maria, Suresh Menon, Subiksha Krishnan and many others.

Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan directed by Atlee released in theatres worldwide on Thursday. The film has got off to a terrific start and has set record figures on Day 1 and continued tremendous job on Day 2 as well. Both domestic as well as the global box office are on fire and this action -entertainer has now amassed a gross collection of ₹129.6 crore worldwide. With this, Jawan has registered the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema.

The film maintained a very strong hold today as well despite it being a weekday and the night shows are sensational in all territories. These numbers surely promise a Record-breaking weekend which will definitely be the highest ever for Bollywood. On day 2 the film is expected to collect more than 50Cr net in India. Another great news for the team is that day 2 overseas is bigger than Day 1. Overall worldwide day gross in the range of Rs 100Cr which is just unbelievable.

Red Chillies Entertainment, Shahrukh’s production house shared the day 1 record poster and wrote, “As Jawan says, “Yeh toh bas shuruaat hai” (this is just the beginning). Thank you for the Massy-ive love” The caption was accompanied by a poster of Jawan that outlined the Day 1 collections of the film to be ₹129.6 crore, which is “The biggest opening day in the history of Indian cinema.”

Bigg boss asked Damini and Kiran Rathod to each take 5 eggs from 20 eggs in the store room and hit on the other contestant’s head and make two omelettes. He also instructed them to not inform anyone in the house. While Damini failed to complete the task. Kiran Rathod was successful in it, After that bigg boss called Shubhashree and Prashanth to get ready in 10 minutes and to be present in the garden area.

Prashanth was afraid that it was a part of the task and he did not make it to the garden area in the time, but eventually bigg boss summoned him and came out of the washroom. Then bigg boss told both of them to jump into the pool within 5 seconds.Thereafter, he told the same to the other contestants as well. He informed everyone that the task of impressing bigg boss was completed, and he selected Shivaji and Rathika as the two top contenders for the confirmation of housemate.

Meanwhile, there was a heated argument happened between Damini and Priyanka during the discussion over washing dishes in the kitchen. Similar discussions and small arguments happened, and they had a fun time as they teased Rathika and Prashanth saying they both are in a relationship. Finally, Rathika and Shivaji were declared as undeserving contestants as they did get more negative votes and bigg boss stated that the final task of Power Astra will be played between Priyanka and Sandeep.

Marimuthu, the renowned Tamil director and actor, died in the early hours of September 8th due to a cardiac arrest. On September 8, Marimuthu reported having a cardiac arrest and was taken to a private hospital in Chennai. He succumbed to his illness at 8:30 a.m. on the same day due to his failure to respond to the treatment. Marimuthu’s sudden demise has caused shockwaves throughout Kollywood.

Marimuthu, who was 57 years old, played a supporting role in Rajinikanth’s latest film’Jailer,’ which was released in theaters in August. G. Marimuthu, who worked as an associate to directors Vasanth, Seeman, and SJ Suryah, made his directorial debut with the 2008 Tamil film ‘Kannum Kannum’. Marimuthu then directed ‘Pulivaal, which was released in 2014, while both his directorial had Prasanna in the main role. It is well-known that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and the maverick director Shankar are collaborating on ‘Indian 2’, which is a sequel to the duo’s two-decade-old blockbuster. The iconic ‘Senapathi’ character, the freedom fighter and vigilante hunted by authorities, will be reprised by the actor.

Earlier, there were rumors coming about the film that it will be released in two parts. However, the team cancelled the two-part release and now decided to release in one part only. The team is also said to have confirmed the release plans. Reportedly the film is being planned to be released on the Independence weekend 2024.

So it is almost certain that the film, Indian 2 will be out during the August 15th weekend 2024, which is touted to be the most expensive film in Kamal Haasan’s career. The star cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Priya Bhavani Shankar and others with the late actors Vivek, Nedumudi Venu and Manobala.

Everyone has been stunned by the delay of Prabhas’ Salaar, and Rebel Star fans who were hoping for an impressive comeback after a string of failures are left with great disappointment. 

After the postponement, there have been numerous rumours regarding the release date. Various release dates, including the first week of November, the end week of November, Christmas, and Sankranthi, are being suggested by various sources and industries.

The official announcement is expected anytime from now and we will mostly receive a final date by this weekend. The film will certainly be released in this year. Salaar team has reportedly locked the release date in November and it appears the makers have a Diwali release in mind. While this sounds great, the makers are also in a fix with several suggestions of distributors for other dates as well.
