But his behaviour is very surprising since today. Amitabh Bachchan has done a shocking Twitter activity on Kalki 2898 AD.

Amitabh Bachchan as well know has played a pivotal role in Kalki 2898 AD. The film became a box office blockbuster right from the opening day but Amitabh Bachchan didn’t behave ecstatic. He just quoted once or twice after the release. But now, with Kalki 2898 AD posters depicting that it touched 1000 crores, Amitabh Bachchan has put many tweets continuously on Kalki 2898 AD. This was truly shocking. He even reposted many memes like a common Man and quoted tweets as well within a day.

No one understands who was behind this. Many doubt that if it was Amitabh Bachchan or someone handling the account. He was tweeting as a fan which looked very shocking. He never did this for any film as well in the past. It seems that he wanted to make it look that he was part of a 1000 crore film on the occasion. On the other hand, Kalki 2898 AD is well on its way to touching the 1000 crore gross mark in its full run.

Indian, the Yesteryear blockbuster directed by Shankar is now arriving on Netflix. The film also had a sequel, Indian 2 which released recently as well. Indian 2 reviews are not so encouraging and many felt that the film didn’t live up to the expectations. Indian will be arriving on OTT Giant, Netflix on this Monday i.e.,15th July.

Indian 2 OTT rights have also been bought by Netflix for very big amount. The team also re-released Indian in the theatres for the Audiences. It is interesting to see that Indian is arriving on OTT while its sequel Indian is still playing in the theatres. Coming back to Indian 2, the film is on its way to becoming a big disaster. Many feel that Director has destroyed the greatness of the first part by taking up the sequel plan.

Now, what more concerning is that there is another part in the line up. Indian 3 will release in 2025 as announced by the makers. Audience feel that situation would become more worse then. There is lot more that the film should recover. Trade analysts expect the film to become a big disaster after its full run. We have to see how the team reacts to such situation then. Shankar needs to work on his another film, Game Changer starring Ram Charan.

Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas opened to amazing box office response. The film also managed to gross more than 800 crores worldwide after two weekends. Now the third weekend is also trending on an extraordinary note. But the Makers have already released the 1000 crore poster now and this has become a controversy.

It is also known that the makers have been exaggerating the numbers from the opening day of the film. This happens for all films actually. But now this poster is setting some debates across the social media platforms. Prabhas fans claim that Prabhas would become the first South Indian hero to hit two 1000 crore films. Shah Rukh Khan too recently scored two back to back 1000 crore films with Pathaan and Jawaan.

Fans of other heroes are not okay with this. They say that the makers have been intentionally misquoting the number for the sake of record. They feel that Kalki 2898 AD didn’t gross 1000 crores. Till now Prabhas’ highest grosser was Salaar directed by Prashant Neel other than the Baahubali series. Now Kalki 2898 AD officially becomes his solo highest grosser. SS Rajamouli also happens to be the only technician from South Industry to have two 1000 crore grossers with Baahubali series and RRR.

Shankar’s sequels: Destroying classics

Director Shankar continued as the top director of South Indian Film Industry for years. He directed many classic films in his career. But it seems he has lost the track now. His earlier film, 2.0 was a sequel to Enthiran/Robo released in 2010. 2.0 didn’t manage to rereate the magic of its original film and brought Shankar bad name as well. Now, with Indian 2 Shankar has gone even futher and damaged one more classic film, Indian/Bharateeyudu. Audience now feel that Shankar is destroying the reputation of his classics.

Audience wanted sequels to his classic films at one point of time but they are not in a mood to see this now with Shankar failing at these sequels. Shankar needs to concentrate on original films from now on. Indian 3 which is already in the line up must be finished with care as Indian 2 looks to post a disastrous number in the final run. The film now looks to recover only half of the pre-release business amount.

Shankar’s current film, Game Changer’s shoot is almost finished and there is just a 10 day shoot left. Now, fans and some audience are in a start of worry about Game Changer’s output. They feel Shankar could have directed the film just as Indian 2. The film will release in 2025.

Bahishkarana : An intense revenge drama to stream soon on Zee 5

The trailer of Bahishkarana depicts the journey of a prostitute Pushpa (Anjali). Her quest to find true happiness in life turns upside down by destiny where she stands against all odds to take revenge on her boyfriend’s brutal murder.

While the trailer looks intense and packed with emotions, what sets up the game for the trailer is director Mukesh Prajapathi’s narrative and realistic portrayal of the characters. Every character has an arc and the layered writing promises the show to be a gripping one.

Bahishkarana is a revenge drama that also touches upon aspects like casteism – exploitation of lower caste by the higher ranked villagers, powerful vs the weak, etc.
One-liners like Manchodu chese modati thappento thelusa, lokam lo prati yuddham swaardham tho modalavuthudi, prapanchame abaddala punaadhula meeda nilabadindi raa are catchy.

Anjali is the surprise package in the show! So far, the audiences have seen her as a soft-spoken woman role, but Bahishkarana brings out her unseen side. Her role of a prostitute and choosing the path of crime and the spine-chilling transformation in her quest to take vengeance evokes curiosity.

The visuals are beautiful and gives a realistic portrayal of a rustic set up, and the background score elevates the visual impact of the show. All in all, the show looks like typical woman set out on a mission for vengeance and this concept seems to be relatively interesting for Telugu audience.

NTR and Ram Charan starred in RRR directed by SS Rajamouli. The film created a big difference between both NTR and Ram Charan fans. There had been a professional rivalry between the two families of both the heroes. RRR just took it to another level. So much so that NTR fans are now celebrating Indian 2‘s failure for a reason. Let’s know why.

Ram Charan is currently playing the role in Shankar’s directorial Game Changer. Shankar’s one more film, Indian 2 released yesterday and opened to disastrous reviews and talk. The film is expected to become a big disaster and NTR fans are making it a reason to enjoy. They feel that it would directly impact Shankar’s next release Game Changer starring Ram Charan. They expect that Shankar too had badly directed Game Changer just like Indian 2.

NTR fans also feel that Devara would be much better compared to the content that exists in Game Changer. Devara is also planned as a Pan India biggie whereas Game Changer is just a regular commercial film. With Shankar receiving negative reviews for his direction, NTR fans are rejoicing this occasion. However Devara’s director, Koratala Shiva‘s previous film, Acharya too became a big disaster and they have to take a note of this as well.

Bharateeyudu 2, Telugu dubbed Version of Indian 2 released yesterday. The film however received below par reviews but opened to good numbers in Telugu states surprisingly. The occupancies shows that the film’s Telugu version is better than Tamil version. Bharateeyudu 2 1st day collections are as follows:

Nizam :2.5 crores
UA: 0.7 crores
East:0.43 crores
Guntur: 0.55 crores
Krishna: 0.38 crores
West: 0.26 crores
Nellore: 0.2 crores
Ceded: 0.8 crores

Total Share of the film stands at 5.8 crores, if GST included it goes to 6.7 crores. The Theatrical business of the film is valued at 25 crores. The Recovery done from the first is 27% of the pre-bizz. The needs a great weekend to hit the break even mark. The film also opened with a decent-good numbers in Tamil market as well.

The film however is disastrous and saw a disastrous opening. The overall worldwide gross from Day 1 is expected to be somewhere around 60 crores. The film needs a big jump in the weekend but the word of mouth and reviews are not helping the film. The film may even end up its run after the weekend as well. There is a third part, Indian 3 in the line up. We have to see how the team works on it to achieve better results.

Budget Forces Indian 2 Split

Indian 2 was initially planned as a single part and Lyca Productions was the solo producer for this project. However, overshooting of the budget and subsequent legal issues forced Lyca to put the movie on hold with Shankar moving on to Game Changer. However, Vikram’s blockbuster success and entry of Udaynidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies breathed new life into Indian 2 and returned it to sets again.

As the movie progressed, the budget crossed more than 500 Cr, and like all Shankar films it had a lengthy runtime. Shankar continuously stated that the film was divided into two parts due to the content only and not on any other factors. But after watching the film it is clear that budget forced the team to go for Indian 3.

Shankar could have easily made the film into a single part as there were many unnecessary scenes but for more than Rs 500 Cr recovery a single part is a risky move. Hence the makers went for two parts. Shankar should learn from these things plan things and deliver the films under the planned budget. The same budget issues happened for 2 Point 0, Indian 2, and Game Changer also

Raj Tarun and Ariyana affair allegations

Tollywood Actor, Raj Tarun has stuck in a legal wrangle recently. He is facing serious allegations by his former lover, Lavanya. She alleged that the Actor had even married her and they had been in a relationship for 11 years. She dragged Raj Tarun’s current film, Tiragabaraa Saami actress Malvi Malhotra into the case. Now, She alleges that Raj Tarun had an affair with Actress Ariyana Glory.

However Raj Tarun has countered to all these allegations by saying that nothing was true. He even said that he didn’t marry Lavanya. The Actor even told that Lavanya had involved herself in a drug case and went to the jail. Malvi Malhotra too replied to the allegations saying that she had no relationship with Raj Tarun. However Ariyana is yet to respond to these fresh allegations.

On the other hand, Police have officially booked Raj Tarun in the case by framing him as A1. Malvi Malhotra was also included as A2 and her brother as A3. This issue is getting limelight everyday with fresh allegations by Lavanya. We need to see how Raj Tarun tackles this issue as there are some of his films in the line up. He needs to complete the shoot part as well.

Blockbuster Maharaja is streaming now

Maharaja starring Vijay Sethupathi became a big blockbuster. It received unanimous positive response after its release. The film also helped revive the career of Vijay Sethupathi after some setback films. The film also grossed more than 40 crores in the weekend worldwide. Now, the Blockbuster film, Maharaja is set for streaming on the OTT.

Maharaja will be streaming from today on the leading OTT Giant, Netflix. The film will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi as announced by the OTT Giant through its official X/Twitter. Maharaja became a good grosser even in the Telugu market. Vijay Sethupathi enjoys a popularity here and hence the collections. The worldwide gross for Telugu version will be more than 8 crores.

Vijay Sethupathi thanked people for the success of Maharaja during the success meet event. He also felt that Maharaja answered people who were doubtful about Vijay Sethupathi’s career as a hero. Maharaja ended up grossing more than 80 crores worldwide. Its revenue was a bit affected by Kalki 2898 AD. Makers and Audience felt that it could touch the 100 crore mark but it fell short. But still it will be a memorable and also the solo highest grosser for Vijay Sethupathi.
