Now Nitya Menen is ready to entertain everyone with her new venture, Kumari Srimathi which will be directly released on OTT.

The motion poster for Kumari Srimathi appears intriguing and provides a glimpse of the lead character. Nithya Menon plays the role of a strong and independent woman who chooses not to get married and take on the responsibility of her family. Kumari Srimathi is set to be released on Amazon Prime, but the release date is yet to be announced.

Early Monsoon Cinemas (a division of Vyjayanthi Movies) and Swapna Cinemas present Kumari Srimathi, which is made under the direction of Gomtesh Upadhye. Avasarala Srinivas is the creator of this series. The story for this web series is penned by Uday, Karthik, Jayanth and Avasarala Srinivas. Kumari Srimathi will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.

Jawan becomes the 8th film to collect more than 400Cr net in India: The list is here

Jawan, the latest film from SRK, is generating a huge amount of money at the box office, breaking all the existing records and creating new ones. The first-ever collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee has created a massive buzz worldwide and proving to be one of the biggest hits of the year.

Jawan’s Hindi version collected around 16Cr Net on the 2nd Friday, which takes the total net to 362Cr in Hindi and in Other languages, the net is approx 44Cr. The Total net of Jawan in India is 406Cr, which means it becomes the 3rd Bollywood film to cross 400Cr net in India after Pathaan and Gadar 2. Overall, Jawan is the 8th film to collect 400Cr net in India.

Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of the year after Pathaan. The cast includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt also appeared in extended cameos in the film. Directed by Atlee, the film’s music has been scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s political entry has been a hot topic for over a decade now. But it finally seems that the entrance of the Leo actor into active politics will take place before the general elections of 2024.

Last month, Vijay had a meeting with his Vijay Makkal Iyakkam leaders from all the 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. The meeting was held at the organization office in Panaiyur in Chennai. Vijay’s team has already confirmed that ‘Thalapathy’ is entering into politics and his film with Venkat Prabhu might just be the last film for him. As of now, there is a chance of elections coming early as the central government thinking of putting all states’ elections at the same time with One Nation One Election. Now, Vijay is planning to register his political party name as soon as possible.

Apart from his political entry, the buzz in Kollywood circles is that Vijay is planning to start a news channel as he enters politics. It has almost become a necessity to have a news channel in order to have a political career and Vijay is thinking on these lines at the moment.

At the moment, the star hero has Leo under his belt and it is scheduled for a release on 19th October. Post this, he will move on to Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Thalapathy 68’ As per reports, this will mostly be his last film before he takes a hiatus from movies.

The movie has completed 1/3rd part of shooting until now, and it is expected to hit the theaters only after the release of big pan India films like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. It is also said that Suriya is eager to be a part of the two-part epic of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Suriya will play Karna, the great lending man, in this historical ensemble from the Mahabharata era, one of the most complex characters of his career.

The film is expected to go on floors in 2024. Before Karna, Suriya is expected to complete shooting for Kanguva along his next with Sudha Kongara, the director of well acclaimed Soorarai Pottru.

Karna will be a big pan-India release in multiple languages and the team is looking to get actors from all industries in the Indian Cinema. Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, has caused a sensation at the box office. The film, which was released on September 7th, already made the entry into the Rs 700-crore club worldwide. The makers of the film held a press conference with SRK, Deepika Padukone, and others to celebrate the success of the mass action entertainer after its record-breaking success.

King Khan spoke about the release date of Dunki to the delight of his fans. Dunki was expected to be released during Christmas 2023 (22nd December), but recently, there were rumors about the film being postponed to the Summer of 2024. However, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed the release date of Dunki again at the Jawan’s success meet.

SRK went on to say: “26 January ko hum start kia with Pathaan, Janmasthami mai Jawan lekar aaya hu, Aur abhi naya saal aane waala hai,Christmas hai, usme mai Dunki leke aane waala hoon, saare National integration rakhta hoon, waise bhi jab meri film aati hai us din Eid hoti hai” (We started with 26 January with Pathaan and then Jawan released on Janmashtami and at Christmas Dunki will release and whenever my film releases it is always EID).

In addition to the lead actors, the film, Jawan also stars Sanya Malhotra, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Priyamani in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also made cameos in the film. The film is directed by Atlee and its music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Somehow the audiences were eagerly awaited for Rama Banam and Akhil’s Agent OTT release as well. Though Agent has been still not released, finally Rama Banam has released on Netflix yesterday, and it is trending top 1 on Netflix now.

Also, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar, which has released yesterday midnight, but the film is not even trending in the Top 10.

Rama Banam, which was released on July 5th, marks the third collaboration of Gopichand with director Sriwass, did not impress audiences or critics as well. As a result, the movie was a massive failure at the box office. The film’s numbers were not impressive, except for obtaining some decent numbers on the opening day. In this family action entertainer, Dimple Hayathi is the female lead.
