Razakar film sparks intense political battle

The teaser for Razakar movie, a period drama about events in Nizam’s Hyderabad before it acceded to the Indian Union in 1948, has been released recently. The teaser has sparked an intense political battle on social media among the politicians. The teaser of the film, which is believed to be based on true stories, depicts atrocities allegedly committed by Razakars against Hindus in their pursuit of spreading Islam and establishing ‘Turkistan’.

Telangana Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) did not like the teaser and felt it could raise the tension among the public. “Some intellectually bankrupt jokers of the BJP are doing their best to instigate communal violence and polarisation for their political propaganda in Telangana. We will take up the matter with the censor board and also the Telangana police to ensure that the law & order situation of Telangana is not affected,” he posted on X, formerly Twitter.

On Tuesday, Raja Singh, the suspended MLA of Goshamahal constituency, reacted to the tweet of Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao who had decided to bring up the Razakar movie issue with the censor board.

“Why the rush, KTR Ji, to ban the “#Razakar” film? I propose that we both watch the movie first and then decide whether to proceed with the ban or let the public learn about the atrocities committed by the Razakars against Hindus. It’s important for people to have access to the facts.” Read Raja Singh’s tweet.

During the time of tiffin, Amardeep and Priyanka had a small argument where the latter felt hurt and walked out of the table. Priyanka was also hurt that no one appreciates her work.

Thereafter, the bigg boss gave the third Power Astra task which will be played by three contestants and in. return they would get the immunity of 3 weeks. Bigg Boss himself selected the contenders for the task. Amardeep, Shobha Shetty and Prince Yawar were the contenders for the task. Prashanth felt bad that he was not selected for the task.

Bigg Boss called him to the confession room and Prashanth cried heavily and said he failed in living up to the game. Prashanth told that Shobha Shetty does not deserve to be a contender. Thereafter, bigg boss called other contestants and asked the same question that who was the undeserving candidate in the three contenders.

Priyanka said Shobha and Amardeep both are undeserving and Subhashree also told the name of Shobha. Teja mentioned the name of Yawar. Damini also took the name of Yawar. Gautam told Shobha was undeserving, while Rathika took the name of Yawar.

Meanwhile Amardeep stole the Power Astra of Shivaji and all the contestants had a few fun moments discussing the task. Rathika and Prashanth had a heated argument after that. Finally, bigg boss gave a twist by showing the videos of confession room to the Power Astra contenders.

Naturally, Prince Yawar felt bad after seeing the video and showed his anger on Teja and others. The contestants were frightened with the behavior of Yawar. Shivaji also felt bad and warned the one who stole his Power Astra.

While the Prabhas fans are in severe disappointment because of the postponement of the Pan Indian film of Prabhas, Salaar, the film is still creating records through its theatrical and non-theatrical business. Salaar has done a record business for a Telugu film after RRR in North America.

RRR movie’s rights were sold at 40Cr in North America, which was a record and now Salaar movie’s rights are sold at 36Cr which makes the 2nd biggest business after RRR. The film should collect 10M$ in North America to achieve the break even mark including P&P Costs.

Even Salaar’s Satellite (Star TV) + Digital (Netflix – for Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages) + Audio Rights are also sold for a whopping 350 crores which is a record-breaking number. At least this kind of news will bring some smiles on the faces of the fans who are presently in a sad mood. Recently, Hombale films, the producers of the film, Salaar, officially announced that the new release date will be announced soon.

Salaar is directed by KGF Series maker Prashanth Neel film. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the film.

The fans of Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan are presently having the happiest days as their Hero is achieving records one by one at the box office with his latest film Jawan. Until now the film, Jawan has completed 12 days run and in Hindi, the film has crossed the lifetime net of KGF 2 in India. Overall, the film has amassed over 880 Cr’s Gross worldwide and is now racing towards the mark of 1000Cr.

For 12 days, Jawan’s Hindi version has collected 445Cr net in Indira and the other versions then the net is 51Cr. If we put together, the total all India net will be 496Cr and the gross is 590Cr+. The Overseas gross is 290Cr, which makes the worldwide total more than 880Cr.

Jawan, made as an action entertainer, is written and directed by Atlee. BCCI presented the golden ticket to Rajinikanth for the world cup

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah on Tuesday presented South Indian Superstar Rajnikanth with a golden ticket ahead of the ODI World Cup set to be hosted by India. The BCCI gave Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan golden tickets earlier.

Rajnikanth was credited by BCCI as ‘The Phenomenon Beyond Cinema’ in a social media post shared on Tuesday.

“The legendary actor has left an indelible mark on the hearts of millions, transcending language and culture. We are thrilled to announce that Thalaiva will grace the World Cup 2023 as our distinguished guest and will light up the biggest cricketing spectacle with his presence,” the rest of the social media post read.
