Skanda worldwide pre business – Highest for Ram Pothineni

It is widely known that the upcoming mass action entertainer, Skanda in the combination of Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu went through some unexpected hiccups before the release. The film was set to be released on September 15th, but at the last minute it got postponed to 28th September. Meanwhile, the film’s business has been closed for 48.25Cr.

Skanda’s Nizam rights have been bought by Dil Raju for 14Cr. Ceeded rights have been bought by SRR films for 9Cr. Coming to Andhra Pradesh, the makers started with 25Cr ratio but with no recent films results, the buyers in Andhra Pradesh had done some negotiations and the final business of the film in AP is around 20Cr.

So the Total Telugu states business of Skanda stands at 43Cr, and the Overseas rights have been bought for 2.25 Cr. The rest of India rights are valued around 3Cr [Telugu version]. The total worldwide business of Skanda Telugu version is 48.25Cr. The film needs to collect 50Cr+ share to achieve hit status.

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu and starring Ram and Sree Leela in the lead roles, Skanda also stars Srikanth, Gauthami, Saiee Manjarekar among others. SS Thaman has composed the music, while Srinivasaa Chitturi has produced this action entertainer on a massive budget under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. Skanda is set to hit the screens worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

Macho Star Gopichand’s previous film, Rama banam made was a big failure at the box office. Made on a massive budget the film, and the result sparked differences between director Sriwass and Gopichand as the budget went overboard, and the film ended up as a big failure. Now he is collaborating with Sreenu Vaitla, and the film was recently launched. Now, as per the reports, Gopichand is taking another big risk with this film as it is being made with a hefty budget.

Normally, it is common for Sreenu Vaitla films’ to go over budget to some extent. His previous films were made with huge sets and foreign locations. Now even for Gopichand’s film also he is said to have putting a big budget. If Sreenu Vaitla gives a comeback then definitely any budget can work, but for that to happen, the promotional content of the film is very crucial for the producer to do good business and get profits as well.

The new film of Gopichand and Sreenu Vaitla was officially launched recently. Director K Raghavendra Rao, producers Naveen Yerneni and TG Vishwa Prasad graced the Pooja. The film will be bankrolled under Chitralayam Studios banner.

Sreenu Vaitla’s bad time started with Aagadu. Starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role, the film turned out to be a disaster. Afterward, he made Bruce Lee, Mister, and Amar Akbar Anthony. Due to these failures, he took a break from films for nearly four years. We hope that the once king of entertainment will make a great comeback and provide a much-needed boost to himself and Gopichand.

Chandramukhi 2 team learns from 1st trailer – Releases improved 2nd trailer

It looks like the makers of Chandramukhi 2, Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut starrer have learned from their previous mistakes and released an improved trailer of the film. The first trailer had unanimously received bad response and this evening during the pre-release event of the Telugu version, the team released a new release trailer. This one is a decent trailer cut that is receiving a decent response from audiences.

The new trailer for Chandramukhi 2 of Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut has been released today, and it certainly makes a difference than the first one. A shot of Jyotika is also shown in the trailer from the first part. The makers have made it a more engaging cut by featuring many comic bits from the film.

Also, it looks like the team has concealed the fact that Actress Lakshmi Menon is indeed playing an important role in the film, and she could be the one who will be possessed by the ghost. The portions between Raghava and Vadivelu in the trailer seem to be the highlight of the film, along with its impressive production and big budget. We should wait and see whether the film will be able to attract audiences when it arrives at the screens on the 28th of this month.

Directed by R. Ravikumar, Ayalaan is one of the most expensive films in Siva Karthikeyan’s career that has been in the making since 2016. After that, Ayalaan was supposed to be released on this year’s Diwali, but it was delayed again due to post-production work and CG. The makers have announced the sequel of Geethanjali and informed she is coming back with the flame of revenge. The makers have made a thrilling announcement that the film titled Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi.

The makers are sure that the sequel of Geethanjali will be a spine-chilling project that will bring shivers down the spine of the audiences. Presented by Kona Venkat, Geethanjali Malli Vacchindi is being produced by MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation. The film is Anjali’s 50th film and the poster of the film has also been released. In the poster, we can see a girl sitting back in an abandoned bungalow premises.

Ramachandra clapped for the muhurat scene of the film, and the script was jointly handed over to director Siva Thurlapati by MVV Satyanarayana and Kona Venkat. Jawan has been breaking the records right from its release day, and now it will break the all India net of SRK’s previous film, Pathaan (544Cr) today in all languages. Jawan has collected 536Cr net until yesterday [All languages] and if we consider only Hind then the number will be 481Cr. In other languages, the film has gathered 55Cr, and today it will break Pathaan and will emerge as the no 1 grosser for Bollywood in India.

It is widely known that NTR and Koratala Siva’s upcoming pan-Indian film Devara was announced to be released on April 5, 2024. The NTR fans were happy with their favorite hero, blocking the best date for the film’s release. However, being the summer season and the release weekend having many public holidays, competition was inevitable for the film and because of the latest developments and reschedules, it is being reported that Prabha’s Salaar to go up against NTR’s Devara.

As per the latest reports, Salaar makers have said to be considering two release dates, March 22 and March 29th 2024. If it is March 22nd then it will have minimal effect on NTR’s Devara which is slated for 5th April release. But if Salaar comes on 29th March, then definitely the movie will have a bigger effect on NTR’s Devara in all markets.

The Distributors are expecting Salaar to be released on 29th March only as it will have the advantage of Good Friday Holiday and the summer and festival holidays coming in the second week will provide a bigger advantage for the film.

The delay in the release of Salaar: Part 1 was disappointing for Prabhas’ fans as well as the entire film fraternity. People were eager to witness the collusion between Brand Baahubali and Brand KGF on the big screen. The film was widely expected to be the biggest mass entertainer for both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. Unfortunately, the 28th September release has been postponed, and other films have been rushing to block what would have been a terrific release.

Salaar is directed by KGF Series maker Prashanth Neel film. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the film.
