Ram Charan completes Ayyappa Deeksha at Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai

Global star Ram Charan, who is a devoted Ayyappa follower recently concluded his Ayyappa Deeksha at the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.

Ram Charan visited the Siddhivinayak Temple with politician Rrahul Narain Kanal in Mumbai on Tuesday. The two made an early morning visit to the temple and offered prayers to Lord Ganpati. The RRR actor will next be seen in the Telugu – Tamil film Game Changer, directed by Shankar.

With folded hands, Ram Charan greeted fans and paparazzi while wearing a black kurta pyjama. After performing the puja, the priest gave him and Rrahul a small Lord Ganesha statue, and they also wore blue stoles around their shoulders.

Sharing a few pictures and a video from inside the temple, Rrahul Narain wrote on Instagram, “Ganapati Bappa Morya Visited @siddhivinayakonline Maharaj Mandir to seek blessings of our divine force with a super kind soul and one of the greatest actors in our Indian film industry… humanitarian and pure Indian at heart @alwaysramcharan bhai (brother)… May God almighty bless us all…”

During this Deeksha period, Ram Charan pledge to follow strict rules and regulations, including wearing only a black Kurta and the Ayyappa. Ram Charan has a history of practicing Ayyappa Deeksha, having undertaken it even during ‘RRR’. This time, he observed it for birth of his newborn daughter, Klin Kaara.

Malayalam Megastar Mammootty has scored a blockbuster with his latest film, Kannur Squad a police crime drama. Released on September 28th, the film has been performing superbly at the box office, much to the happiness of the trade circles and the fans of Mammootty.

The film is doing extremely well and the 6th day collections in Kerala are slightly higher than opening day, which indicates how strong is the performance of the film. In 6 days, the film has collected 20Cr gross in Kerala and worldwide the gross is 42Cr. The film is expected to maintain the same momentum for at least another 2 weeks and to put a solid number in full run.

Since the very first day of release, Kannur Squad has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Even in adverse weather conditions in Kerala, audiences are still coming to theaters thanks to the film’s strong word-of-mouth publicity. The much-awaited extension of YRF’s Spy Universe through Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ will happen by this year’s end. The film will have a Diwali 2023 release marking the second release of Salman Khan this year after Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The third chapter in the Tiger franchise is being directed by Maneesh Sharma and also stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead, Zoya.

Yash Raj Films have now officially announced the date for the film which has left fans excited. It will drop on social media on October 16. YRF, the production house, also shared a new poster of Salman Khan.

Yash Raj Films unveiled ‘Tiger Ka Message’ on September 27. The video was the precursor to the much-anticipated trailer of ‘Tiger 3.’ The makers chose the special day as it marks YRF’s Foundation Day. Tiger 3 will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi and pick up on the events after War and Pathaan. The earlier films YRF spy universe films like War and Pathaan were massive blockbusters and similar box-office performance is expected from this Salman Khan- Katrina Kaif starrer.

It is widely known that Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s mass action entertainer Skanda was released on September 28th amidst good expectations, but the film failed to impress the audiences and ended up as a big loss venture after having a decent three days at the box office. While the film’s failure has shaken the trade circles and buyers, Boyapati Sreenu’s latest statement from an interview about the intro action episode of Ram in Skanda has gone viral.

In the latest interview, Boyapati Sreenu himself confirmed that the intro action episode of Ram in the film was made on a huge scale using 29 generators, and it was shot for 11 days. The total budget of the action episode itself cost a whopping 4.5Cr. According to the industry buzz, the budget of the film, Skanda is more than 85Cr.

The theatrical rights of the film are valued at 50Cr, and it has done just 50% recover in 5 days. Overall, the film has collected below par numbers at the box office and is all set to end up as a huge loss venture for the buyers.

The movie’s music was composed by S Thaman. Srinivasaa Chitturi produced Skanda under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, making it the most expensive movie for Ram. The movie features Sree Leela as the female lead, and Saiee Manjrekar will play a crucial role. The movie presented by ZEE Studios South and Pavan Kumar features Santosh Detake as the cinematographer. Editing is handled by Tammiraju.

Skanda has had a Pan India release on September 28th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
