Devara: Beach song planned with NTR and Janhvi Kapoor

NTR’s Devara shooting has been going on at a great pace with NTR leaving for Goa for a shoot yesterday. This Koratala Siva project is one of the most eagerly anticipated films in Tollywood and the recently released first look along with the title has created a solid buzz for the movie and the fans are surely in for a treat.  The film will also mark Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut.

Devara team first completed action part and sent the footage to the CG team for CG works. The team started a new schedule in Goa where a romantic romantic track between NTR and Janhvi Kapoor is being filmed. A beach song is also said to be planned in this schedule. The movie is planned in two parts and 1st part is will release on 5th April 2024. Devara’s shoot is expected to be completed this year end and NTR will shift his focus to War 2 next.

Saif Ali Khan will play the antagonist against NTR. Hari Krishna K and Mikkilineni Sudhakar are producing this movie under NTR Arts and Yuva Sudha Arts banners. The film has its music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Devara will be released on worldwide screens on 5th April 2024.

Nelson and Nayanthara set to collaborate for blockbuster sequel

Director Nelson and Nayanthara are all set to collaborate for the blockbuster sequel. The Kollywood Circles are abuzz with the news of the actress and director teaming up again for the Sequel of Kolamavu Kokila. Nayan’s fans will be pleased with this news.

Kolamavu Kokila was a blockbuster starring Nayanthara, and the film’s success helped Nelson to create his brand, especially the dark comedy brand audiences. Now, the buzz is that Nelson is planning to make a sequel to the film called Kolamavu Kokila 2. 

The film was released in 2018 and had Nayanthara playing the lead with Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan, RS Shivaji, Charles Vinoth, Hareesh Peradi, Jacqueline, Rajendran, Saravanan, Redin Kingsley, Arun Alexander, to name a few. Lyca Productions was the bankroller of the black comedy, which featured Anirudh Ravichander’s music. Both critics and the audience praised Kolamavu Kokila.

Kolamavu Kokila tells us the story of a girl named Kokila (Nayanthara), who voluntarily joins a drug trafficking mafia in a small town to save her mother from terminal cancer. The film’s success led to its Hindi remake. Janhvi Kapoor played the lead in the Hindi remake titled Good Luck Jerry, directed by debutant Sidharth Sengupta. The film is now streaming on Disney + Hotstar.

Producer responds about fake Leo collections allegations and theatre issue

There have been huge allegations on Leo collections saying the team has gone for proxy bookings overseas. Apart from this, there is one more allegation that Leo producer has asked for high share terms from theatre owners which gave them losses. All these rumours around the film have turned out as the biggest topic in Kollywood. TN Theatres association president Tirupur Subramaniyam made a lot of allegations about the movie, and now the producer of Leo has responded.

“We announced actual box office numbers without any exaggeration, 461Cr in 1st week is absolutely genuine. I don’t have any motive to fake the numbers and the movie is doing very well in overseas there is absolutely no need for proxy bookings,” said producer SS Lalit Kumar.

He further went on to add that TN Theatre Owners Association president Tirupur Subbramaniyan asked for the Coimbatore release of the film, But since he refused the demand, these allegations about Leo collections are being made. The producer added that terms that existed for Varisu are the same being followed for Leo in most areas excluding a few c Centers

Netflix counting down for Jawan streaming

Netflix is counting down the days for Jawan streaming. It is widely known that the digital rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s latest blockbuster, Jawan Digital Rights, have been bought by the OTT giant. On its social media account, Netflix shared a cryptic post counting down the days until SRK’s birthday, and everyone is guessing it is indeed the streaming date of Jawan.

Reportedly, Netflix bagged Jawan’s OTT streaming rights for a considerable price, and its digital debut release is expected for Shahrukh Khan’s birthday. Netflix is counting on the same; an official update will be in one or two days.

The Hindi films will premiere on OTT eight weeks after the theatrical release, and owing to the same rule, Jawan will make its OTT entry 56 days after its theatrical release, according to the latest reports.

Jawan is a highly intense action thriller that depicts a man who is driven by a personal vendetta to rectify injustices in society. Shah Rukh Khan played Vikram Rathore and his son Azad in this story, encompassing social and political issues and entertainment. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara played the other significant roles in the film. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt play memorable cameo roles as well. 

Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chhabra have also appeared in other prominent roles in the film. The first time Shah Rukh and Atlee collaborated was with Jawan. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film.

In the 56th Episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 7, Nagarjuna warning Shobha Shetty and Prince Yawar was the main moment. Along with them, Nag also reviewed the other housemates’ games and behavior. He strongly condemned the wrong words used by Shobha and Yawar.

Before that, Nagarjuna entered the stage by dancing to the song of his film Don. Like in every Saturday’s Episode, he watched the footage of Friday’s episode. The housemates had a few discussions about the captaincy contenders’ task. Also, Teja and Shobha once again had a small fight and patched up again.

Also, Nagarjuna warned Shivaji to be careful with his words, and the latter said he was frustrated with how things were going in the house.

Nagarjuna appreciated Ashwini’s game while he told Bhole to concentrate on his game. He stated Priyanka and Arjun’s game was good, along with warning Sandeep, who used bad words during the nomination process. Even the housemates felt his behavior was not correct.

At the event, during his speech, he updated fans on the most awaited film, Kaithi 2, and said that Dilli will return soon.  He also stated that first, the Sequel for Kaithi will be made, and then a standalone movie on Suriya’s Rolex will arrive.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is fresh from the massive success of Leo, will work with Superstar Rajinikanth on his next film. After that, he will direct Kaithi 2, followed by a standalone movie on Rolex.

It is widely known that Lokesh is a close friend of Karthi, which is why he attended the latter’s film event, which brought great excitement to the fans. As he entered the Nehru Indoor Stadium, the fans roared with joy.

Kaithi 2 has a massive craze not only in Tamil but also in Telugu audiences as well. Because the Dilli character is the most loved in LCU and at the box office, the film will take a massive opening.

The OTT Giant has taken its official social media account and informed that the fascinating web series will be streaming from November 18th. They made this announcement with a striking teaser.

The series, directed by rookie Shiv Rawail, is set against the backdrop of the Bhopal gas leak disaster. It demonstrates the unwavering fortitude of Indian Railways staff and their attempts to rescue countless lives during the city’s darkest hours. The lead actors are R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan.

On the evening of December 2, 1984, methyl isocyanate gas spilled from an American Union Carbide Corporation pesticide manufacturing plant. More than 500,000 individuals were poisoned that night, according to reports, and the official death toll surpassed 5,000. Thousands of survivors have said that the leak has caused cancer, blindness, respiratory, immunological, and neurological issues in them, their children, and grandkids.
