His latest film, Keeda Cola, was released on November 3Rd, and despite the mixed response, the film performed well at the box office. However, his movies work well for only one section of the audience. Tharun Bhascker is targeting a limited market.

As said above, Keeda Cola posted good numbers for the weekend, but these films will affect Tharun’s market and limit him to small-budget movies only. If he wants to make a film on a reasonable budget, then it will not be easy for him because his films’ revenue is coming only from Hyderabad city and  America.

90% of the revenue of Tharun Bhascker’s films comes from the two areas mentioned above, and in other areas, his movies are very poorly performing. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi had just collected around 5Cr share worldwide, and Keeda Cola is also doing the same.

This means that Tharun Bhascker is going for a smaller audience. He should come out of his comfort zone and aim for a big market, and regarding the content in his films, he should take on more responsibilities. He is one of the most talented directors in the Telugu film industry, but showing his talent only for limited people is not the right move. His films might get a positive or mixed response from a limited section of people, but other people are not even showing any interest in watching his movies.

It also opened very big at the box office. The brand of Polimera Part 1 helped the film to post excellent numbers on the weekend. However, today’s collections indicate the content failure of Maa Oori Polimera 2.

Seeing the film’s openings, the trade felt it would continue the momentum. Even though the reviews were mixed, word of mouth was good for the film, but today’s collections showed even the talk was not better for it.

The movie witnessed a significant drop today in its numbers. Generally, if a small film gets a good buzz, it carries the same momentum for a few days. Likewise, the trade expected Polimera 2 to take a big jump on day two and day three, but it did not show any progress at the box office, and it just held the numbers in day one range only.

On the second and third day, the film did not see any jump, and today, it witnessed a drop more than expected. However, the film is already a hit film as it achieved breakeven in 3 days. But if the content had worked big, then the film would have collected massive numbers and even went to the range of 50Cr, but now it looks like it is not possible. We need to see whether the performance of Maa Oori Polimera 2 will affect Polimera 3rd part.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna deeply hurt by deepfake video and expressed concern on social media on Monday regarding the video being circulated on the weekend. In a post on X, the actor said, “Something like this is, honestly, extremely scary not only for me but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused.”

Rashmika’s reaction occurred one day after a video that showed a woman with Rashmika’s face went viral on social media. An unconfirmed video shows a woman wearing a fitted black one-piece dress when she enters a lift. The fans and Netizens supported, and consoled the actress Rashmika Mandanna as she was deeply hurt by deepfake video.

Rashmika expressed her initial reaction to the viral video by saying that the community must address the issue of technology misuse with urgency before more people are affected by identity theft.

“ I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online,” Rashmika Mandanna said, adding how she could not have tackled the situation had this happened in her school days.

“Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends, and well-wishers who are my protection and support system. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this,” she said.

Dulquer Salman is officially a part of KH234. The well-known young star hero of the Malayalam film industry has officially joined the cast of the upcoming film starring the iconic actor Kamal Haasan, directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie is currently known by the working title KH234.

In a tweet announcing his participation in this project, Dulquer expressed his happiness, saying, “A legendary reunion of the masters Mani Sir and Kamal Sir! A learning opportunity of a lifetime. So blessed and grateful to be a part of #KH234.” This marks Dulquer’s first collaboration with Kamal Haasan and his second with Mani Ratnam, following their work in Ok Kanmani.

The Tamil film industry’s highly celebrated legends, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam have returned together after 35 years for ‘KH 234’.  Along with them, Dulquer Salman is officially a part of KH234.

AR Rahman is the music composer for the film, while Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer, and Anbariv duo is the stunt choreographer. KH 234 will be jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R Mahendran, and Siva Ananth.

According to the producers, the movie has made a 13Cr theatrical profit as they mentioned the business was done for 57Cr, and the worldwide share of the film is 70Cr.  But you would not be able to find this combination of numbers from any box office site, and the trade says that the makers have mentioned theatrical pre-release business without GST. But, the collections they mentioned included GST.

So, there is a practical loophole in the numbers provided by the Shine Screens. There is no doubt that Bhagavanth Kesari is a successful film but did not make significant profits as the producers mentioned in their numbers. The calculations are differently projected in trade, and producers’ numbers differ.

Jawan becomes an overrated film post-OTT release. It is widely known that Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Jawan, was a massive blockbuster at the box office, and it generated record collections for the Hindi version. The film went on to collect more than 1000Cr Gross alone in Hindi. However, Jawan became an overrated film post-OTT release.

During the theatrical release of the film, the trade expected it to do huge numbers in the South because the director, Atlee, was from the South Indian film industry, and it started on a solid note with big numbers on the opening day But, after the weekend, it did not maintain the same level.

With Tamil and Telugu languages combined, Jawan’s Gross was around 70Cr in India. Word of mouth was not unanimous in the South, unlike the North, where there was superb talk about the film. 

The South audiences felt that they had already seen films like these. Now, after the OTT release, most of the South audience thought it was a very ordinary film. It was also the weakest film of Atlee and was very overrated in theatres. Even some sections of the northern public felt the same; the movie was an ordinary film. 

Jawan is a highly intense action thriller that depicts a man who is driven by a personal vendetta to rectify injustices in society. Shah Rukh Khan played Vikram Rathore and his son Azad in this story, encompassing social and political issues and entertainment. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara played the other significant roles in the film. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt play memorable cameo roles as well. 

Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chhabra have also appeared in other prominent roles in the film. The first time Shah Rukh and Atlee collaborated was with Jawan. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film.
