In Hindi, Saiyaara is doing very well, and in Telugu, the biggie Hari Hara Veera Mallu was released at the same time. Despite such competition, the animated/devotional film Mahavatar Narsimha finds a massive number of audiences on Sunday and posts a double-digit gross in India.

On its 1st weekend, the film collected more than 20 Cr gross in India, and at this trend, it is expected to join the 100 Cr club as well.

Telugu cinema fans and PSPK fans faced a big disappointment as Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu received a lukewarm response upon its release. Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s team has removed a few scenes.

The film got unanimous negative reviews from critics and audiences, but a few scenes were heavily criticized by audiences, including fans. After listening to the feedback, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s team trimmed a few scenes, and now an updated version of the film is playing in theaters.

The horse shots in the film received heavy backlash for the poor VFX, and they have been removed by the makers.

Also, before the climax part, there is a Toofan episode in the film, which has been removed entirely. The arrows scene and the temple flag scene in the flashback have also been trimmed by the team.

However, all these efforts are futile now, as the film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has almost ended its theatrical run as the chances of it recovering at the box office are very less.

But even after the first weekend, Veera Mallu’s BookMyShow user rating is 8.3, which is definitely a helpful factor for the film’s collections.

During his chat, Boyapati Sreenu confirmed to fans that there is no change in Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2’s release date, and it will arrive as announced on 25th September. He stated that the release date of his film will become a festival for Nandamuri fans and movie lovers.

The makers of the film announced the release date of 25th September a few months ago, but there are continuous rumors in the industry that this sequel will move to December. But the makers have still stuck to the date informed the same to the distributors.

Akhanda 2 Cast-Crew

The sequel to the movie Akhanda is being made with the title “Akhanda 2: Thandavam.” This film is being jointly produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the banner of 14 Reels Plus. Balakrishna’s younger daughter, M. Tejaswini, is the presenter of the film.

Pragya Jaiswal continues her part from the first part, while Samyukta Menon joins the cast alongside Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Harshali Malhotra. Aadhi Pinisetty plays a key role in the film.

The shooting of this film has been going on in the forests of Maredumilli for the last three days. Some key scenes with Balakrishna have been shot in this week-long schedule. Thaman is composing the music for this film.

Nithin’s Thammudu on Netflix from this date

That is why even fans feel that Pawan Kalyan is mainly responsible for Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s failure. If we consider the previous film directed by Jyothi Krishna, it is proven that he is not capable of handling big technical values or elements.

Unnecessary Script Changes and Directors Getting Changed Dented Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s Content

There are many directors available in the industry who are strong on the technical front, but are failing due to a bad script.

However, the plus point for Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs. Spirit is that Krish Jagarlamudi had already designed the full script of the film.

But the team HHVM did unnecessary changes to the script after the director was changed. It could have been good if Pawan had picked the right director with no change in Krish’s script, which could have probably delivered some better results.

Mahavatar Narsimha, the latest Pan-Indian Film (main Kannada), has emerged as an unexpected blockbuster at the box office. The film’s Pan-India success is a slipper shot to Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa. 

If we compare many parameters, Kannappa is a much bigger project than Mahavatar Narsimha, as the latter is an animated film, whereas Vishnu’s dream project is a star-studded film

Both films were made on divine elements, but Kannappa miserably failed in Telugu and other languages, ending as an outright disaster, whereas Mahavatar Narasimha is emerging as a pan-Indian blockbuster, doing well in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The day 2 collections of the film saw a 200% jump over day 1, and day 3 is expected to have a 200% jump over day 2. The film is expected to collect more than 15 Cr gross in India in the 1st weekend.

Mahavatar Narsihma surprised everyone and emerged as a blockbuster at the box office. Looking at the current trend, the film will easily collect more than 100 Cr gross and can even go bigger.

Kannappa makers made a big mistake by not making the entire film on divine elements. The initial 2 hours of the film deal with unnecessary 5 Tribal groups, Romance, and Action episodes, which made audiences completely disconnected from it.

Even though the last 40 minutes are filled with divine elements, that could not save the film, as the audiences were already disconnected from the film because of the weak screenplay.

If the makers had filled it with complete divine elements, Kannappa could have been a pan-India blockbuster.
