Mangalavaaram Paid Premieres are announced, and bookings have been opened. Nowadays, most medium-budget films are screening paid premieres, and Ajay Bhupathi and the team of Mangalavaaram have already announced that they are planning for the same on 16th December in Telugu states. 

As they announced, the bookings for paid premieres have been opened for Mangalavaaram in Andhra Pradesh. Shortly in Telangana, the booking will open. The movie is already carrying a good buzz. If word of mouth comes good from the premieres, then the film will be able to open with great numbers at the box office. The team is very confident about the film.

Mangalavaaram, which Ajay Bhupathi directed, has gained attention due to its dark thriller theme and high technical quality. The censor board recently gave the movie an A certificate without any cuts.

The promotional materials for Mangalavaaram, which consisted of first looks, posters, promos, and trailer, were intriguing and raised anticipation.  They generated enough hype for the film. So, arranging paid premieres is a wise decision by the makers. The film’s revenue will be further boosted if the paid premieres generate positive buzz.

Will Nagarjuna break his sentiment? This is the question in the industry circles. It is widely known that Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Sankranthi releases like Soggade Chinni Nayana and Bangarraju worked very well at the box office. After that, he did some experimental action films which failed miserably at the box office, so he took his time and announced Naa Saami Ranga film as his next.

The title announcement gave a lot of positive buzz for the film. Heroes like Allari Naresh, Raj Tarun also play important parts in this film. The film is reportedly is a mass entertainer and Nagarjuna felt that it would be a perfect Sankranthi film and targeted the festival release and did the shooting at a rapid pace and the film is expected to wrap its shoot by December.

But the latest industry buzz is that like Family star, Naa Saami Ranga also will move out of Sankranthi race. We have to see whether Nagarjuna breaks his sentiment or goes ahead to release Naa Saami Ranga on Sankranthi only. There are already 4 straight films set to be released for this Sankranthi, Guntur Kaaram, Hanuman, Saindhav and Eagle. Also, there are a few Tamil dubbed films. We need to see what will be the decision of Nagarjuna.

Naa Saami Ranga is an upcoming Telugu film starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and marks the directorial debut of famous choreographer Vijay Binni.

The most recent update from the unit was that the music sessions are presently underway. MM Keeravaani, composer of the Naatu Naatu song (RRR), and lyricist Chandrabose collaborated on a new song for the film. Chandrabose posted a photo of himself with the composer and Nagarjuna. The image rapidly became popular on the internet.

Srinivasaa Chitturi produces the film under his own banner, Srinivasaa Silver Screen, with Prasanna Kumar handling the writing. Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment destination, today announced the premiere date of its highly anticipated Telugu Original, Dhootha, a supernatural suspense-thriller. Directed by Vikram K. Kumar, and produced by Sharrath Marar, under the banner of North Star Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Dhootha marks the streaming debut of Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, playing the role of Sagar, an ambitious and successful journalist who finds himself engulfed by supernatural events that are at the nexus of many mysterious and gruesome deaths, and are now shadowing over his family.

Suriya’s Kanguva set for a release in 10 languages. It is widely known that the National Award winner Suriya has teamed up with Siruthai Siva for his upcoming pan-Indian film, Kanguva. This is the biggest film in Hero’s career and one of the much awaited projects from the Kollywood next year. The makers already hinted about releasing the film in 10 languages and the latest reports strongly suggest that Kanguva movie set for release in 10 languages.

The latest updates from the industry circles is that the 3D works are under progress and the film, Kanguva is all set to be released in 10 languages. The regular updates about the film will be made shortly.

For the past several months, Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ has been shooting at various locations, making it one of his longest-ever shoots. Kanguva unit completed the final schedule of the film in Thailand.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for ‘Kanguva’, which is co-produced by UV Creations in association with Studio Green. As said above, Kanguva movie is set for a release in 10 languages.

War 2 – A big challenge for NTR

War 2 is a big challenge for NTR. It is widely known that the young tiger NTR, who appeared in the global blockbuster, had signed War 2 with Yash Raj Films, and he will star alongside Hrithik Roshan in the film. When NTR was announced to be a part of War 2, everyone thought it would be a perfect platform for NTR to debut in Bollywood, but now the audience and even fans feel that War 2 is a big challenge for NTR.

There are many issues with the film. Firstly, the Spy Series is not working for South Indian audiences as those movies are only performed in the Hindi belts. This is the major concern, and the issue is the films. Spy Universe does not have strong emotions, which the South Indian audience needs.

The NTR brand will be able to pull the southern audience for War 2, but it should record numbers here because NTR is a big star in Telugu. But if there is no emotion in the film, then it cannot score big numbers. The second thing is the writing of the Spy Series films.

There are mostly weak characterizations in the Spy Series films. Undoubtedly, they offer a lot of action, but on the writing side, the movies are fragile, and the main concern is the characters of antagonists.

The YRF Spy Series films have very silly characterization for villains, and NTR is expected to play the villain in War 2; the director of the movie is Ayan Mukerji, whose previous film Brahmastra also had plenty of action part, but he did not deal the villain thread correctly, and it was poorly written.

There is another tension for NTR fans, I.e., Tiger 3’s box office performance. If Tiger 3 had created the records, it would have been a big boost for War 2, the next film in the Spy Series. That is why War 2 is a big challenge for NTR. 

But the film Tiger 3 underperforming at the box office indicates Bollywood audiences could be more excited about Spy Universe films. We have to wait and see how NTR overcomes all these challenges.

Muttiah Muralitharan: Free streaming on OTT

The biopic of the legendary Sri Lankan bowler Muthiah Muralitharan, titled 800 released last month amidst positive reviews. The film was released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi but failed to draw the audience to the theatres, and was a box-office failure. 

800 will now be making its digital premiere soon and it will be free! The film will have a free streaming on Jio cinema from 2nd December in all languages. The official announcement has been made. The decision to stream the movie for free will surely attract more audience on OTT and it will now reach a wider audience.
