Salaar’s South India distributors list and breakeven details are out. It is widely known that the upcoming Pan Indian actioner, Salaar in the combination of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel has been surrounded by massive hype regarding its content and box office. Salaar will be distributed by various distributors in Andhra Pradesh. In Telangana, Salaar will be distributed by Mythri Movies and in Tamil Nadu, it will be distributed by the most renowned distribution company, Red Giant Movies. In Kerala, Prithviraj Productions will distribute Salaar while in Karnataka, the Production house, Hombale Films will be releasing the film on their own.

Salaar’s Nizam rights are valued at 65Cr, while Andhra rights are valued close to 70Cr. The Ceeded rights are valued at 27Cr+. The Total Telugu states rights will be approx 165Cr. In Other areas, the producers are releasing on their own through distributors. As said above, Karnataka will be their own distribution. The overall business will be valued at around 75Cr [Kerala + Karnataka +TN] and the total South India rights of Salaar will be around 240Cr.

This is the most crucial film in Prabhas’s career, especially after consecutive failures, but the fans believe Salaar has the capacity to mark a stunning comeback for their favorite hero.

Salaar is directed by KGF Series maker Prashanth Neel. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in crucial roles. Ravi Basrur is the film’s music director.

Leo will stream on the OTT giant platform, Netflix, from 23Rd November in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The audiences eagerly wait for the streaming of this film.

Reportedly, the makers of Leo have made a four-week OTT agreement with Netflix for a massive price. Since the makers wanted to go for a four-week agreement, they refrained from screening the film in Hindi national Plexes, where a gap between theatrical and OTT release must be at least six weeks.

In terms of theatrical success, despite mixed reviews, this action thriller has managed to put up a remarkable box-office performance and has emerged as one of the top four Kollywood Grossers of all time.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has an impressive cast, with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Iyal, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Madonna Sebastian, Priya Anand, and others playing important roles. Seven Screen Studio produced the movie with Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer.

Released on 10th November, the Japan movie received terrible word of mouth from early shows, affecting the film a lot in all territories. However, the film put some reasonable numbers in Tamil Nadu during the Diwali holiday weekend, but after that, the movie completely crashed in Tamil Nadu.

The theater owners are replacing the film with other films as the occupancy is very low. In the Book My Show app, the movie got the lowest rating recently, with just a 5.1 rating, which shows the audience’s complete rejection of the film. The film was a big setback for Karthi as it was his landmark 25th film.

Japan, written and directed by Raju Murugan, has been made as a heist comedy film and, as said above, failed to impress the audiences. The film also continued the disastrous streak of actress Anu Immanuel.

Japan’s ensemble cast comprises Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, KS Ravikumar, Jithan Ramesh, Bava Chelladurai, and more, in addition to Karthi. Dream Warrior Pictures, a company known for films like Kaithi and Sulthan, provided funding for the movie, and GV Prakash Kumar composed the music.

For four days, Tiger 3 movie’s India net is 160Cr and Gross is around 195Cr. The film also witnessed a massive drop at Overseas. Till now, the movie has collected just around 8M, which is a  poor total because, after opening day, the film has just collected 3 Million Overseas for the next three days.

The Total worldwide Gross of Tiger 3 for four days is 260Cr+ and crossing the 500Cr mark seems very tough for the film. In 2017, Salman Khan’s previous Spy Series film, Tiger Zinda Hai, collected 550Cr+ gross worldwide, but its sequel, Tiger 3, will end up below that, and it will be nowhere near the recent Spy Series film Pathaan.

Kannur Squad starts as a crime investigation thriller focusing on police procedurals but then switches to an action-packed crime thriller and a road movie that spans different Indian states. Emotional scenes further enhance its appeal to families. Mammootty giving a blockbuster with this film has naturally delighted his loyal fans.

Roby Varghese Raj made his directorial debut with Kannur Squad. Muhammed Shafi and Rony David Raj wrote the screenplay. The film stars Mammootty in the lead role as ASI George Martin, alongside Vijaya Raghavan, Rony David Raj, Kishore Kumar G, Shabareesh Varma, and Sunny Wayne. The movie will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar starting tonight.

Chinna (Chithha in Tamil) was made with a sensitive backdrop and features Siddharth in the lead role, with Nimisha Sajayan as his love interest and Sahasra Shree playing his niece. Chittha was released on September 28th in Tamil, and it was released on October 6th in Telugu. Though it did not fare well in Telugu, it got massive OTT and satellite deals. The time of shoot (read night) and the geographical terrain (water bodies, etc.) meant that the unit members had to be on their toes.

The film is not just about stunning visuals. More importantly, there is a solid script that necessitated the big canvas. “The story is replete with twists. You will be truly shocked. The movie is full of twists, especially in the last 45 minutes. The music by Ajaneesh B Loknath is amazing,” Bhupathi says.

It is a sequence from our film. We had to do a rehearsal where, as part of our scene, a man asks me, ‘Aey budhau topi bechni hai kya? Because I am wearing a hat. So, he comes, I hit him and tell him to not misbehave and then he runs.

“We had done one rehearsal, we had to do one more. We were about to begin when the boy in the video came inside, and I didn’t know who he was, I thought he was our guy. So I hit him as per the scene and told him that he should not misbehave, but then I realized he was not our guy. By the time I started calling him back, he ran away,” he said in the video.

Folding his hands, the veteran actor apologized for his behavior and promised to apologize to the man who was hit by him. “I have never refused anyone for a picture. The ghat is always so crowded, and this scene was being shot in the market. Ye galti se hogaya, humko malum nahi woh kaha se aaya (This happened by mistake, I didn’t know where he came from).

“If there is some misunderstanding, please forgive me. I never hit anyone and I have never done something like this. The people of Kaashi and everyone else love me a lot, I would never do something like this. We searched for the boy a lot because for no fault of his he got hit, but we couldn’t find him,” he added.
