Rajinikanth’s Coolie will have a massive craze in Telugu because of multiple factors. Firstly, it stars superstar Rajini. The second one is the director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has a good image among Telugu audiences. Coolie Telugu’s break-even mark is at 100 Cr.

It is widely known that King Nagarjuna is playing a crucial role (rumored to be antagonist), and the music of the film is composed by Anirudh, who has a huge fan base across languages, and it involves a huge star cast as well. 

Box Office: Rajinikanth’s Coolie needs a huge target in Telugu

Reportedly, the makers have quoted more than 50 Cr value for Telugu states rights itself, and some distributors are in discussions to buy the rights of entire Telugu states. So, to achieve the break-even, the action thriller needs to collect in the range of Jailer, 2 Point 0, which means in Telugu for break-even itself, Rajinikanth’s Coolie needs to collect 100 Cr gross at the box office.

Coolie: Can Lokesh deliver a Massive Blockbuster

Collecting 100 crore gross is definitely possible with positive word of mouth. As said above, director Lokesh Kangaraj carries a huge brand, but box office-wise, he is yet to score a sensational blockbuster like other big directors from Tamil.

For example, the Vikram director should score massive hits like Director Shankar and other directors. His film with Vijay, Leo, opened big, but because of mixed talk, it just managed to achieve the breakeven. Even with his best hit, Vikram also ended up with less than 40 Cr gross in Telugu states.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film is yet to score 50 crores gross in Telugu. So, at this time, Coolie needs a 100 Cr gross to reach the break-even point, and it is expected to give a big break box office-wise for the director in Telugu.
