Pawan recalled the previous government’s behavior towards the film industry and asked, Did the industry forget how the top actors were insulted by the previous government?” The Deputy CM made it clear that from now on, there will be no more personal talks with the government. 

The DPCMO made it clear that the representatives of the film associations should come to meet him for any help or welfare activities and firmly stated that the coalition government is not interested in dealing with individuals, but it will work towards the development of the entire film industry.

Why do the people from the Telugu film industry come in person at the time of the release of their film and ask for a hike in the ticket price? Sri Pawan Kalyan has advised everyone to come together and discuss with the government, and the same was conveyed to the producers, Sri Dil Raju, Sri Allu Aravind, Sri D. Suresh Babu, Mrs. Y. Supriya, Sri Chinababu, Sri C. Ashwaneedat, and Sri Naveen Yerneni. 

However, the producers came personally and have applied to the Department of Cinematography to raise ticket prices for their films. The government also responded positively.”

The chamber announced that there would be no theatre bandh on June 1 and that theatres would run as usual on that day. Telugu Film Chamber secretary Damodar Prasad made an important announcement in this regard.

Damodar Prasad alleged that the media has misrepresented the original controversy and issue by spreading propaganda about the theatre bandh to their wish. “There was a mention between us about the theatre bandh on June 1, but we wanted to resolve the issue through discussions,” said Damodar.
