Ram Charan: RRR, the global blockbuster, also gave losses for Andhra buyers and his multi starrer film with his father, Acharya was a massive disaster at the box office.

Pawan Kalyan: Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak, both the films had given some losses to the buyers and his other film, Bro the Avatar was completely a disaster at the box office.

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi interacted with the media today and countered strongly that there are some people and a section of media who tried all the ways to kill the film, but the audiences saved them and made the film a success.

Vamsi stated that the film delivered massive numbers and most of the buyers are close to break even as they have recovered 90% of their business. In Nizam also the collections are good, but it did not reach the expectations and still, the numbers are good.

As per Vamsi, overseas is the only area where the film did not work. He also said that the reviews did not affect the film at all, but preparing the audience was the biggest mistake done by the team. “We prepared audiences for a mass film and delivered a family entertainer who has impacted badly in 1 AM and early shows on the opening day. After that from evening shows families started to come to the theaters and now movie delivered good numbers”.

“One of our films was released a few years back during Sankrathi, it got bad talk, and it didn’t do well. So, Guntur Kaaram worked because of the content in the film but not because of Sankrathi season” says the producer, Naga Vamsi.

Eagle features Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead role. Karthik Ghattamaneni is the film’s director. Films like Yatra 2 and Ooru Peru Bhairava Kona have been scheduled for a release on February 8th and 9th. Lal Salaam, starring Rajinikanth, is scheduled for release on February 9th.

The actress has expressed remorse for the controversy surrounding her film ‘Annapoorani’, stating that she and her team had no intention of hurting anyone’s emotions. Nayanthara issued her apology through an Instagram post with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and Hindu religious symbol ‘Om’ written on masthead. In her post, Nayanthara said, “In our sincere attempt to share a positive message, we may have inadvertently caused hurt. We did not expect the removal of a censored film, previously showcased in theaters, from the OTT platform. My team and I never intended to hurt anyone’s sentiments, and we understand that the gravity of this issue. Being someone who wholely believes in God and frequently visits temples across the country, it is the last thing I would intentionally do. To those whose feelings we’ve touched, I extend my sincere and heartfelt apologies.”

Some Hindu groups accused Annapoorani film’s unit of spreading anti-Hindu propaganda, leading to controversy over their activities. Netflix took the action to remove the film from its platform last week.

“The intention behind ‘Annapoorni was to uplift and inspire, not to cause distress Over the last two decades, my journey in the film industry has been guided with a singular intention — To spread positivity & foster learning from one another,” Nayanthara further said in her post.

Annapoorani’s Main Plot

Nayanthara portrays Annapoorani (who is a conservative Brahmin from Srirangam, Tamil Nadu) in the film. Her goal is to become one of India’s top chefs. She is unable to choose between her passion and orthodox ideals, resulting in obstacles that she faces.

Her classmate Farhan (played by Jai) gives her encouragement to leave her comfort zone and start eating meat.
