Shooting for OG will commence after the AP General Elections. Following the completion of OG, he will work for Ustaad Bhagat Singh before moving on to Krish’s directorial.

Even after the elections, Pawan will take a big break from films and the chances are only for OG Sequel to happen if the first part becomes a massive success as it is being planned as a two-part film, and he is not committed to any other projects.

Films with historical and mythological themes and god references have worked brilliantly at the box office of late. Karthikeya2, Kantara, Akhanda and now Hanuman have done a terrific job at attracting the audience to the theatre. Prashanth Varma with a terrific climax set of 10 minutes took the movie to the next level and gave an unforgettable experience for people which resulted in massive box office numbers.

Hanuman is now inching closer towards 200Cr gross already. This success has once again brought the debacle of Prabhas’ Adipurush to the center stage. Films like Kantara, Akhanda, and Karthikeya 2 had references to gods and ancient scriptures. But Adipurush was a film made on Ramayana and directly featured the characters of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, and Ravan among several others.

Despite having a strong theme and a terrific opportunity to tell the epic story in a grand manner, Om Raut and team completely failed and received a lot of criticism for not portraying our gods and Ramayana correctly.

Teja Sajja starter Hanuman on the other hand just proved that if only Adipurush was made with better vision and direction, it would have definitely been a bumper blockbuster at the box office and a minimum of 1000Cr was totally possible. Prabhas’ Om Raut and others missed a huge opportunity there.

Now Nitesh Tiwari is making Ramayan with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash and it is said to be a trilogy series. Based on starcast and the theme of the story, there is once again a huge opportunity in front of the makers and it needs to be seen if Nitesh Tiwary succeeds this time.

Hemant Tiwari, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the IFSO Unit, stated that Naveen previously operated a fan page for Rashmika and also created two additional fan pages for other prominent personalities.

At that time, the film community urged the government to stop the spread of these deepfake videos on social media. Legendary personalities like Amitabh Bachchan came supporting Rashmika during the controversy.

For Maharshi Dil Raju was the producer, and he released it in Nizam and Uttarandhra regions on his own and in both territories the movie delivered huge record numbers for Mahesh Babu especially in Nizam it created non BB records. Next comes Sarileru Neekevvaru and even for this film, Dil Raju was a co-producer and took the rights of Nizam and Uttarandhra which worked massively for him in both territories as the film delivered massive numbers and profits for him.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata rights for Nizam were also bought by Dil Raju and it achieved break even. For Guntur Kaaram he paid 40Cr+ for Nizam rights and the movie was affected by mixed word of mouth and ticket hike badly which made Dil Raju end up with losses. Though it’s not a massive loss like Spyder, this will be the first time after Spyder that Dil Raju facing losses with a Mahesh Babu’s film with Guntur Kaaram.

Director Prasanth Varma, and Teja Sajja’s Pan India Film Donates ₹ 2,66,41,055 For Ayodhya Mandir. 

The superhero film “Hanu Man,” carved by Prashanth Varma, produced by Niranjan Reddy on Primeshow Entertainments, and features Teja Sajja in the titular role, continues the strong trend. The movie, which crossed the 150 Cr mark globally, raked huge numbers even during the weekdays. Hanu-Man witnessed maximum occupancy in domestic and overseas markets on its second weekend.

Besides being a blockbuster hit, the movie has also joined Pran Prathista of Bhagwan Shree Ram celebrations in Ayodhya by donating Rs 5 from each ticket for the Bhavya Ram temple in Ayodhya.

As mentioned in the pre-release event, they are donating ₹5 from each ticket to contribute towards Ayodhya Ram Mandir. They presented a cheque of ₹ 14,85,810 from the 2,97,162 tickets sold from the Premiere Shows of the movie.

They have donated Rs 2,66,41,055 from 53,28,211 tickets sold for the film until now for Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

So as it is not a normal budget or regional film, the makers expected a flurry of offers for the film, but Devara gets disappointing business offers.

As said above, Devara is not a regular film, and it is being made with a heavy budget involving lots of action parts and a lot of CG. So for this kind of heavy budget films, any producer will expect a massive business. But the business is not happening in the expected lines for Devara.

In Ceeded the movie is getting good offers around 24-25 from distributors. However, in Nizam the offers are less than 40Cr and Andhra [6 Territories] business offers are in the range of 45 — 50Cr which is very less for the film’s budget.

Devara business offers are not big

If we combine the business of Andhra and Nizam the movie is expected to do a business around 85Cr which is very less for such a huge project. From distributors, the movie is getting normal big film range business offers. Mythri Movies team is in plans to acquire both the Telugu states rights, but their offer is also same in the range of 110Cr.

The Overseas business offers are said to be less than 25Cr. In other languages Devara’s business offers definitely will not be huge as the hype is not created there as of now and the director does not have any brand value out of Telugu. The total worldwide theatrical business for Devara might be lesser than 200Cr as of now, which is certainly disappointing for the budget.

The makers need to do massive and continuous promotions to increase the buzz and business. The glimpse of Devara has worked well, but it’s not enough and the unit needs a continuous blockbuster promotional content to maintain the same level of craze.

Dhananjayan, Kanguva’s Producer, clarified in the latest interaction with media on the release date of the film. He stated that the release date of Kanguva has not been finalized until now and the movie will be released in 10+ languages, and it is a big subject.

The VFX, and 3D works are still pending, and it will take around 6 Months to finish Post-Production according to the producer. They are also planning worldwide promotions. “We don’t want to pressurise director Siva and team by putting a release date. We will announce the release date after all the VFX and 3D works get completed” said the producer of Kanguva.

It deems like that the film, Kanguva will have a year-end release, and we cannot be surprised even if it goes for 2025 release. It is a big shock for Suriya fans.
