Arshad Warsi Calls Prabhas a Joker

Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has raised a huge storm by making controversial remarks against Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD. Arshad Warsi termed Prabhas as a ‘Joker’ for his portrayal of Bhairava in the blockbuster.

The words shocked everyone, especially considering Kalki 2898 AD was an epic blockbuster that has collected more than 1000 Cr gross worldwide. It was the biggest grosser of this year, In Hindi markets also it collected more than 400 Cr gross worldwide.

Arshad Warsi said in a recent interview that the last film he watched in theatres was Kalki 2898 AD and he was disappointed with the film. “I expected a film like Mad Max but Prbahas looked like Joker in the film,” he added.

These words have triggered Prabhas fans as well as Telugu cinema fans leading to a war of words on social media between Bollywood and Tollywood fans. Whatever one’s opinion about the movie, whether they liked the film or not, using such words to describe an actor is truly unfortunate and distasteful.

The GOAT Trailer: Relief for fans

The GOAT starring Vijay is one of the most awaited films in Kollywood. But the film’s songs have completely gone wrong with their composition and disappointed the audience and fans badly. Many have started trolling the team for not paying attention to the songs. This has caused a negativity for the film’s buzz and the team wanted to control the damage with the trailer release. The trailer released yesterday and is rocking YouTube with its views and Likes. The GOAT Trailer has surely become a relief for Vijay’s fans.

The Trailer showed Vijay playing dual role and his fight with the team as well. Visuals look splendid and the budget spent was also seen from the trailer. The film is also focussed on many action scenes with a major cast. The Trailer has also crossed 30 Million Views in 24 hours on YouTube with more than 1.2 Million Views. This is a very good response considering the negativity the film had with the songs.

The GOAT is scheduled for release on 5th September worldwide. This will also be Vijay’s penultimate film after which Vijay will doing his final one with H. Vinoth. Vijay will then start focussing on his political career and compete in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections in 2026.

Devara: Clash Of Clans

On Saif Ali Khan’s birthday, the makers of the much-awaited Jr. NTR-starrer ‘Devara: Part 1’ provided a glimpse of Saif’s character, Bhaira. Devara Glimpse stars Saif Ali Khan as Bhaira, a hunter with a demonic side that is raw and savage.

The filmmakers portrayed Bhaira as a clan chief who will go to any length to protect his people. So it’s clear that NTR might also be a clan head, and the film is intended to feature a conflict of clans. The tension may be due to authority over the ocean, as much of the film is about fishermen and their lifestyle.

In the 52-second action video, Saif’s character, Bhaira, dominates a wrestling fight and defeats his opponent, spreading blood on the ground. The video also depicts Bhaira enjoying and dancing with his clan, alluding to his powerful and fierce character in the film.

Devara, which was originally intended to be a standalone film, has been divided into two parts, with the first being released in theaters on September 27. The film’s promotional content is currently generating a lot of buzz. Following Devara, Jr., NTR will appear in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan.

Recently released Chuttamalle, second lyrical song of Devara has become a sensational chartbuster. The song instantly impressed all with it’s soulful composotion by Anirudh Ravichander. The song is rocking YouTube and has been trending ever since it’s release. Chuttamalle has also clocked the much reputed 100 Million Views on YouTube.

In Telugu version, Chuttamalle is still trending at No 1 position with 73 Million Views. Hindi Version has also clocked 22 Million views with Tamil version adding 5 Million Views. Kannada and Malayalam versions of the song brought in 2Million Views. The song has got 104 Million Views till now. This is definitely an excellent response for the song.

Devara’s first lyrical, Fear Song was a big sensation after it’s release. And now with Chuttamalle, the hype for the film has gone much further. Fans and Audience have been eagerly waiting for the third lyrical song. Chuttamalle may very well touch the 200 Million Views mark before the release of the third lyrical without any doubt. Devara is all set for a worldwide release on 27th September. The shoot is also in the final leg of completion. NTR wants to score a big blockbuster with Devara and move towards War 2 and NTRNeel films.

Big Blow for Suriya’s Kanguva

Kanguva is one of the most awaited projects of Kollywood. The film is also planned as a Pan India Biggie. The film has already been announced as 10th October release. Kanguva marks as the biggest budgeted film in Suriya’s career as well. So it needs a solo release and Dasara season is not big like Diwali or Sankranthi in Kollywood. Vettaiyan has become a big blow for Suriya’s Kanguva with a release clash now.

Vettaiyan’s release date was also announced to be on 10th October. Everyone expected that Vettaiyan may postpone to Diwali but the game is on with Vettaiyan arriving on Dasara. An official announcement is also expected about the matter as well. This will become a big blow for Kanguva without a doubt.

Lyca Productions has one more film, Vidaamuyarchi starring Ajith which is slated for release during Diwali season. So they moved Vettaiyan to the original slot as per sources. Vettaiyan may create a damage to Kanguva’s Pan India hit dreams. Kanguva needs to impress all sections of people to become a huge hit. Stree 2, the sequel to the 2018 horror comedy Stree released on August 15th and received great reviews from critics and the film is running with Positive WOM. The film took full advantage of the extended Independence Day weekend and performed exceptionally well to date at the box office. Let’s have a look at Stree 2 3 Days Collections:

Stree 2 is expected to witness a big jump again on Sunday. The film will cross 50 crore nett on Day 4. The film might end up close to 190 crores by the end of the 4 Day extended weekend. Huge Losses To Hanuman Producers!

‘Prime Show Entertainment’ is a production house of Telugu cinema, solely owned by K. Niranjan Reddy. It is best known for bankrolling the superhero flick Hanuman (2024). Written and directed by Prashanth Varma, it featured Teja Sajja and Amrita Aiyer in lead roles.

Releasing in January this year, the film was a major commercial success in Telugu and Hindi. Even on the streaming platforms, it received high praise for the theme, vfx, and performances. Following this, the production house bagged the rights to release Manjummel Boys in Telugu.

Needless to say, this was a profitable venture. Their next venture, Krishnamma (2024), a film starring Satyadev in the lead role, was a failure, but the losses it brought were quite minimal. Their next production Darling (2024) was also box-office bomb but its non-theatrical business saved the day. However, they faced a major setback with Puri Jagannadh’s Double Ismart (2024).

Prime Show Entertainment bought this Ram Pothineni-starrer’s theatrical rights for a whopping INR 54 crore, and the film, which hit the screens last Friday, is struggling to get over the double-digit share mark. The film is a huge disaster for the buyers! It must be seen how the company will tackle this situation.

Jr. NTR Congratulates AAY Team!

‘Nawa Dhalapathy’ Sudheer Babu was last seen in an actioner called Harom Hara (2024). Despite receiving some good response, the film ended up as a disappointing venture for buyers. However, Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law looks in no mood to stop anytime soon.

Within no time, the actor has announced his next venture’s title and first look. Yes, Sudheer Babu’s next project is titled ‘Jatadhara’, a Telugu-Hindi bilingual. It is written and directed by newcomer Venkat Kalyan.

Prerna Arora and Sudheer Babu Productions are jointly funding this project on a big budget. The first look from the film showcased Babu in a rugged look, holding a trishulam, the signature weapon of Lord Shiva. The makers are reportedly keen to release the film for Mahasivarathri 2025.
