Hi Nanna delivers disastrous TRP

Hi Nanna starring Natural Star Nani and Mrunal Thakur did decent at the box office. The film was made with a good cast and had a fresh feel due to the chemistry between the lead pair and also the presence of a kid. However, the film after its OTT launch did amazingly well. The film has managed to perform sensationally well on the Top Films list category on Netflix.

Many people who didn’t watch the film in the theatres watched it on Netflix and started liking it. But the sad news is it performed very badly on TV. Hi Nanna has recently premiered on TV worldwide and it managed to get only 4.45 TRP in Urban areas and 4.06 TRP in urban and rural areas. This is surely an embarrassing number for Nani considering his fandom among family audiences. The film which also deals with Family issues performed poorly on TV which is shocking.

The film has positive reviews in the theatres and mouth talk was decent as well. Still the film failed to deliver good ratings on Telivision. Not only this film, All recent films of Nani putting very low TRP numbers. But on OTT platforms Nani films working so big. On the work front, Nani is currently doing a film under DVV Creations, titled Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The first look of the film has already been released recently.

Tillu Cube’s plotline revealed

Tillu Square starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran became a sensation. The film is a sequel to blockbuster, DJ Tillu. It released on 29th March to much hype from the franchise’s fans and audiences. The film took off to an amazing start with a stunning 23 crores gross worldwide. The team has already announced one more film in the franchise, Tillu Cube. Its plotline has also been hinted at by the lead Actor Siddhu.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda was speaking in an interview for the channel Galatta Plus where he said he is open to thinking about ways to change the plotline of Tillu. He said that he may even want to turn the character into a superhero, unlike a regular guy who gets cheated by girls often. This shows that Siddhu wants to present the character differently in the coming films in the franchise.

Tillu Square has performed exceptionally well during the weekend. It managed to collect a stunning 68 crores gross worldwide. This is a stunning performance for a medium-range film. If the same momentum continues for another weekend, it may well cross the lifetime collection of Dasara. It’s already on its way to crossing the 100 crore mark before this weekend worldwide.

The Goat Life 1st Weekend area-wise Box office collections

The Goat Life also titled Aadu Jeevitham starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul has achieved a great start at the Box office. The film made on a big scale and budget managed to grab the eyeballs before its release. And likewise, it did a fantastic job as well during the weekend. The Goat Life’s 1st Weekend area-wise Box office Collections are as follows:

The film managed to gross 23.25 crores in the home state of Kerala. The Karnataka gross stood at 3.5 crores. Tamil Nadu and Rest of India gross are 4.1 and 3.2 crores respectively. The gross from the Overseas belt is at a staggering 30 crores. This is a phenomenal number for a film from the Overseas market. The total worldwide gross of the film is now at approx. 65 crores.

This is an all-time record for any Malayalam film beating the previous record holder, Lucifer with 56 crores gross. The Goat Life still looks very strong and would post sensational numbers today also. This film is also on its way to becoming the fastest 100-crore grosser ever in Mollywood. Prithviraj and the team pulled off a great task and everyone must appreciate their grit in bringing the film with so much of hard work.

Manjummel Boys surpasses Suriya’s highest grosser in Tamil Nadu

Manjummel Boys from the Malayalam Film Industry became a sensation. The film gained a positive word of mouth and the sky was only the limit. It managed to gross more than 200 crores gross worldwide. What was more interesting was it performed exceptionally well even in Tamil Nadu so much so that it has surpassed Suriya’s highest Grosser in Tamil Nadu now.

Manjummel Boys deals with a group of friends visiting Guna Caves. These caves become popular with the film Guna starring Kamal Haasan. So Tamil people owned the film like anything because of this connection and general content won the people. The film has collected a staggering 61 crores in Tamil Nadu alone. This has also surpassed this year’s biggest hit, Ayalaan starring Siva Karthikeyan there. And Finally its Suriya’s turn to face a nightmare. Manjummel Boys has surpassed his highest ever grosser there.

The film has crossed the lifetime collections of Singam 2 which collected 60 crores. Suriya suffered major setbacks after this film and didn’t score a proper hit. Soorarai Pottru which earned him great praise and even a National Award for his acting released on OTT. Suriya now has to bounce back greatly with his upcoming film, Kanguva. Kanguva’s teaser released recently showed great promise. Let’s see what happens after the film’s release.

This is good news for the fans and audiences as Renowned Director Mani Ratnam and versatile actor Aravind Swamy are teaming up again for a film. The last film they worked together was Chekka Chivantha Vaanam also released as Nawab in 2018 . The film generated good hype but flopped at the box office in Telugu. They didn’t collaborate after that.

Aravind Swamy and Mani Ratnam are known for delivering a few of Indian classics, Roja and Bombay. These two films are still considered cult classics and became blockbusters as well. Their combo became very popular too. Aravind Swamy also appeared in a cameo role in Mani Ratnam’s Sakhi. He appeared in Kadal which released in 2013 in a pivotal role as well. He played the antagonist role in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam/ Nawaab in 2018. This was thier last collaboration. Now Aravind Swamy is coming on board for the upcoming film of Mani Ratnam, Thug Life. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Trisha in the lead roles. Jayam Ravi too came on board but opted out. It is learned that Aravind Swamy now is approached for his role. Another Actor Simbu is also believed to come on board in the place of Dulquer Salmaan who recently exited the film.

Thug Life’s shooting has been delayed due to Kamal Haasan’s political activity. The film would start the shoot once he finishes this. The film is made on a large scale and it will be a Pan India release film.

This weekend has been great for films in the Indian Box Office. All the films that released this weekend in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and English releases have had a great start at the box office. The film is a direct sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong released in 2021. This film did well in India and likewise, it attained a cult status as well. The Ghazi Attack streaming on OTT platform

Sankalp Vishnu’s war action drama The Ghazi Attack was a major box-office success back when it was released in 2017. The film received high critical acclaim for its technical values and gripping narration. Starring Rana, Kay Kay Menon, and Atul Kulkarni in key roles, the film is now ready for its OTT release on Netflix.

The Ghazi Attack was already released on OTT earlier but was available in Telugu. Now, Netflix has acquired the rights of this war action drama and will stream the Hindi version. The Ghazi Attack was one of the most critically acclaimed Tollywood film of 2017 and went on to win National Award for Best Telugu Film that year.

The film is inspired by the fictional events from the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The story is about a submarine of the Indian Navy, an executive naval officer, and his team, who remained underwater for 18 days. Vijay Deverakonda: I took minimal remuneration

Tollywood Actor Vijay Deverakonda revealed that he had taken minimal remuneration out of the films he did. He was addressing the media ahead of his upcoming release, Family Star, and shared a few insights. Producer Dil Raju and Actress Mrunal Thakur were also present.

Vijay Deverakonda said he didn’t care about remuneration and compared it to peanuts. He stated that he started fetching a good amount only after his earlier film, Kushi directed by Shiva Nirvana. The Rowdy star also opined that anyone who comes from outside the Industry must not care about remuneration and concentrate on grabbing the chances. Vijay when asked about the exact number said that he was okay with the amount then.

Vijay specifically answered about one of his earlier controversial statements regarding encouraging Debut Directors. He said that he didn’t mean what he said. The Actor felt if he did all films with debut directors, it would kill other actors’ chances. His film, Family Star‘s pre-release event will take place tomorrow in Hyderabad. It is slated for release this April 5th. Tillu Square may pose a big threat to the film which is already rocking the box office. It has already gone past the 60 crore gross mark worldwide. Tillu Square set to join 100 crore club

Tillu Square is on a roll. The film stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. It released on 29th March to a very good start. Many thought the film would become a hit but Tillu Square has gone past this feeling and is all set to join the reputed 100 crore club. This is indeed great news for the audience.

The film had a sensational start with strong positive word-of-mouth which grossed around 23 crores worldwide. This is considered a very good start for a medium-range film. It continued the same momentum even on Day 2 posting another 20+ crores gross worldwide taking the total to 45 crore gross worldwide in 2 days. By the weekend the film touched the 60+ crores gross mark to everyone’s surprise. The Share mark stands at 32 crores worldwide. With all these additions, the film passed today’s Monday test as well. It reported strong noon and matinee shows across the Telugu States.

The super hold of Monday indicates that the film is unstoppable at the Box Office and may easily touch the 50 crore share mark and 100 crore gross mark worldwide. Magadheera 4K version is now available for streaming

Magadheera starring Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal was a box office sensation. The film became an Industry hit in Tollywood and was praised for its large-scale making and budget.
