Pushpa Pushpa song fails to impress Tamil Fans

0

Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun became a big hit throughout the country. The film did well in the Tamil version as well and emerged as Non SS Rajamouli hit at that time. The songs worked very well for the audience which resulted in this hit there. But the recently released song of Pushpa 2:The Rule, Pushpa Pushpa song failed to impress the Tamil Fans.

Any film needs to put big numbers in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil versions to score a Pan India hit. But the song, Pushpa Pushpa received very good views in Hindi and Telugu versions alone. The song made more than 10 Million Views in both versions but in the Tamil version, it made only 1 Million Views which indicates the poor response it got.

Sequels of Previous Pan India blockbusters, Baahubali 2, and KGF Chapter 2 posted very big numbers in Tamil Markets. Not only in Tamil Nadu, the Tamil language has a super strong overseas market as well. The song Pushpa Pushpa’s underwhelming performance is likely to be a concern for the team of Pushpa. The upcoming songs may change the perception of Tamil Fans. The film is also made with very high production values as seen from the song. The team of Pushpa is desperate to score a 1000 crore number with the film.

Vijay Deverakonda recently worked with Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations for Family Star. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur directed by P. Parasuram. Family Star opened to disaster reviews and eventually became a disaster right from the first day of its release. The film became a nightmare for all the parties involved. Now, surprisingly Vijay Deverakonda locked a film with Dil Raju again.

The film not yet titled, will be directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, fame of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru and Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. It’s also going to be a larger-than-life Rural Action Drama as revealed by the production house. Producer Dil Raju faced major losses with Family Star. So to compensate Vijay Deverakonda and some parties involved, he is doing this film.

Family Star was made lavishly with high production values and a star cast as well. The film was also directed by Geetha Govindam and Sarkaru Vaari Paata fame P. Parasuram. Many thought the film would emerge as another blockbuster for the combo but the reverse happened. The film faced huge trolling even after the OTT release. The team of Family Star missed many logics and made a hurry attempt which resulted in this trolling and disappointing result. However, one needs to see what happens now to both Vijay Deverakonda and Dil Raju.

Tollywood Actor Prabhas’ previous starrer, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire became a sensation after its release. The film grossed more than 600 crores worldwide becoming a big hit for Prabhas after the Baahubali franchise. But it seems Salaar has become a disaster on Television.

Salaar premiered on Star Maa where it secured only 6.5 TRP. This is literally a shocking and disastrous number considering the popularity of Salaar. Mahesh Babu’s recent outing, Guntur Kaaram posted a better rating than this film which also shocked everyone. Nagarjuna’s recent film, Naa Saami Rangaa also performed very well on TV. securing an 8 TRP. No one understands why Salaar registered this low TRP.

However, one needs to understand that it is the period of IPL. So many may stick to TV watching Cricket matches and not show interest in certain films that have already been watched in the theatres. Some films that don’t register good run in the theatres eventually have viewership. Salaar may fall in the former category as it was already seen by all and with the affect of IPL the TRP has further declined. And Salaar is also not a film to be watched on TV as its impact can be only experienced well in the theatres.

Pawan Kalyan will enter the pan-India league with Hari Hara Veera Mallu. While the film’s announcement some years ago had filled fans with great optimism and excitement, the same buzz has been slowly dying with each passing day. The makers released a teaser yesterday and this was the first update that saw the light in a long time.

The film has been announced as two part movie and it has been officially announced that director Jyothi Krishna will replacing Krish for the next part. This will impact the movie’s business potential as Krish has some brand and the Jyothi Krishna does not have any reputation as a director of a big-league movie.

Due to this last-minute change, buyers may not come forward for the film and show as much interest as they showed when Krish was part of the project. Even the teaser looks ordinary and there is no exciting factor in it.

Apart from the issues with the director’s brand image, the film’s pending shoot and budget extension have also created a problem for the makers. It needs to be seen when Hari Hara Veera Mallu completes its shoot and gets ready for release.
