Sreeja Konidela’s Ex-Husband Sirish Bharadwaj Dead!

0

Sreeja Konidela, the younger daughter of ‘Mega Star’ Chiranjeevi, needs no introduction. Back in 2007, she’s on the national headlines after eloping and tying a knot with Sirish Bharadwaj, her then boyfriend.

Needless to say, Chiranjeevi didn’t approve of this wedding, and the couple have been living separately in Hyderabad. They were blessed with a baby girl, Nivrati. However, they parted ways with a formal divorce. Sreeja went ahead to remarry Kalyan Dhev Kanuganti.

All of this is now relevant since her ex-husband, Sirish Bharadwaj, is no more. Following a lung-related illness, he was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad, where he breathed his last on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

0

Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas is one of the most awaited films of Tollywood. The film is also made on a big span and stars many known actors across several industries. Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan are also playing pivotal roles in the film. The director of the film, Nag Ashwin has talked about the film in detail. Some of the shots of the film were also added to his video. According to him, Kalki 2898 AD will have an epic climax.

Nag Ashwin mentioned the importance of Indian epics, Mahabharatha and Ramayana. He also talked about the inspiration he drew from Mahabharatha for Kalki 2898 AD. The director said that he wanted to make a sequel to the Mahabharatha and represented the same in the film. He said that the follows the incoming of Kali in the Kaliyuga, the present yuga, and the aftermath of Kali’s arrival follow the film’s main plot.

The film is all set for the release and the pre-release event of the film will take place this weekend in a grand manner. The event would be held in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Chennai as well. The film has all the chances of touching the 1000 crores gross mark worldwide if it strikes the right chord.

Mega daughter irks fans in a caste controversy

0

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela collaborated with Zee 5 for a web series ‘Paruvu’. The show starring Nivetha Pethuraj, Naresh Agasthya, and Naga Babu in key roles is now streaming on Zee 5. ‘Paruvu’ features a total of 8 episodes with each episode being of around 40-50 minutes in duration.

The web series is a thriller that deals with inter-cast love story and intercaste marriage in the backdrop of Guntur – Vijaywada. The show further explores how politics and people are influenced by caste and how they can take some extreme actions driven by caste fanaticism. While the show is great conceptually, some segments of the show have come under controversy.

While the makers did not mention directly about any caste, the references like a hardcore NTR fan being a caste fanatic means they were referring to the Chowdary caste. Now netizens are lashing out at Sushmita Konidela as they feel the show was made with the intention of targeting a particular section of the society.

Harom Hara: Sudheer Babu fails as a star

0

Sudheer Babu happens to be the brother-in-law of Tollywood Actor, Mahesh Babu. He even debuted for the same reason as a leading actor and has been in the Industry for years. But the actor didn’t quite get the tag of a star. Hits and flops are common for any actor but Sudheer Babu didn’t manage to score a big hit. Even a film like Sammohanam failed to cross double-digit share worldwide. The result of his recently released film, Harom Hara too indicates that Sudheer Babu failed as a star.

Harom Hara opened with an average word of mouth and reviews and failed to get even openings. On the other hand, Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja rocked at the box office. It opened bigger than Harom Hara in most of the centers. Sudheer Babu put a lot of effort into the film but failed to get the audience to the theatres continuously.

Harom Hara had a holiday advantage with Bakrid but still, it didn’t cash the opportunity. Sudheer Babu must now stop acting in as many films as possible as he does and concentrate on only one film. If needed, he should also quit films for some years and take a break which may help him.

Pushpa 2: Sukumar’s Mark again

0

Sukumar rose to nationwide fame with his Pushpa: The Rise. The film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film though gathered a mixed talk and performed well in the Hindi language thanks to the songs and craze of Allu Arjun. Likewise, the film grossed nearly 350 crores worldwide. Now, Sukumar is making sure to leave his mark again with Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Normally we tend to see a director’s trademark. But Sukumar has a trademark in shootings as well with postponing his originally scheduled release time. He does it again with Pushpa 2: The Rule as the film has been postponed officially to 6th December this year. It was originally planned to release on 15th August coinciding with the Independence Day of India. The film will miss this date now.

Fans and Audiences are not sure if this release date will stay as they doubt that the film may take even more time. Sukumar is very much concentrated on the quality of the film. He wants to make the film even more popular than the prequel. The target is close to 1000 crores worldwide. Allu Arjun is also very much focused on the film.

Maharaja 4 days worldwide box office collections: Big Blockbuster

0

Maharaja, the 50th film of Vijay Sethupathi has struck gold. The film opened with a 3 crore gross and witnessed a big jump for the next day as well. The film acquired a positive response from the Telugu Audience as well surprisingly. Maharaja has also maintained a strong hold on Monday thanks to the holiday advantage of Bakrid. The film is heading towards a big blockbuster tag.

Vijay Sethupathi has been on low for some years. He hasn’t scored a solo blockbuster in recent times. The Actor also played many supporting roles and guest roles as well. But Maharaja has surely relieved him after many duds. For 4 days, the film has collected in the range of 19 crores gross in Tamil Nadu alone. In the Telugu States, Maharaja has managed to get more than 7.5 crores gross. The rest of India+Overseas gross stands at 14 crores. The total worldwide gross is now in the range of 41 crores.

This is purely sensational and surprising. The film has all the chances of crossing the 50 crore gross mark and will also be Vijay Sethupathi’s solo highest-grosser. The team may even conduct a press meet for this unbelievable performance at the box office.

Will Allu Arjun reunite with Trivikram?

0

Allu Arjun is currently working on Pushpa 2: The Rule and the film’s release date has been postponed officially. The new release date is scheduled to be 6th December this year. He joined hands with Atlee for a film and discussions too happened for the film but it has been shelved due to high remunerations as we all know. So now the question is, Will Allu Arjun reunite with Trivikram?

Allu Arjun has also put Trivikram in line for a film before okaying Atlee’s film. But after Guntur Kaaram, it felt he showed interest in working for Atlee’s film. So he kept the film with Trivkram under consideration. Now with Atlee’s film shelving, he may think about going ahead with Trivikram. Trivikram on the other hand didn’t get the expected result with Guntur Kaaram. The film failed to strike chords with all sections of audiences and became an average grosser at the box office thanks to the Sankranthi season.

Trivikram didn’t sign any film after Guntur Kaaram and is free also. So both may collaborate for sure but it may take time. Pushpa 2: The Rule shoot is still left and we don’t know if the film comes on time as scheduled. So let’s wait and see.

If all goes well and the film secures a positive talk, there is a chance of hitting the 1000 crore gross mark worldwide as well. The film was made with a big budget and span. Prabhas is already riding high with the success of Salaar which grossed more than 600 crores worldwide. Fans and Audiences expect that he may cross this number easily.

Mr. Bachchan Show Reel: MASSive

0

‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja will be next seen in ‘Mr. Bachchan’, a film directed by Harish Shankar in their third collaboration after Shock (2006) and Mirapakay (2011). People Media Factory, a company on a production spree, is bankrolling this project.

For those unaware, this is an official remake of Ajay Devgan’s Raid (2018). As a part of promotions, a’show reel’ was uneviled today by the makers. The teaser showcased Ravi Teja in a massy avatar, and the technical values, such as the music, look spot on.

Overall, a very good cut by the makers! Mr. Bachchan also stars Bhagyashree Borse, Jagapathi Babu, and Abimanyu Singh in key roles. Mickey J. Meyer is composing the film’s background score and songs.

Is Lokesh Kanagaraj Overrated?

0

Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most sought-after filmmakers in contemporary Tamil cinema. Known for his directional prowess, rich technical values, and music taste, he has delivered a series of box-office hits, beginning with his debut, Maanagaram (2017).

His next venture, Kaithi (2019), is a major commercial success; additionally, it received widespread critical acclaim with praise for its screenplay, direction, performances, and music. Starring Karthi in the lead role, it is considered Kanagaraj’s career-best work.

However, things have taken a u-turn since then. His next release, Master (2021), despite its collections, was completely panned by critics. Next up was Kamal Hassan‘s Vikram (2022), the second installment in the celebrated Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe (LCU). It received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics and is considered far inferior to Kaithi (2019).

And his lastest release, Leo (2023), is complete crap, to say the least, and is considered Kangaraj’s worst work to date. Needless to say, the film’s collections are highly exaggerated. One thing that’s noteworthy is that not a single film by Kanagaraj has worked at the Hindi box office or received international acclaim like RRR (2022). In simpler terms, all his flicks were duds outside South India. This leads us to the million-dollar question: Is he overrated? Well, we think he is.
