Kalki 2898 AD Witnesses A Drop On 2nd Day!

Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is off with an earth-shattering collections at the box-office. Minting a worldwide gross of INR 190 crore on first day according to producers, it emerged as the third-biggest opener of Indian cinema only behind RRR (2022) and KGF: Chapter-2 (2022).

However, the Prabhas-starrer witnessed a small drop in collections on second day in Telugu States, Other versions holds good. With a gross of over INR 100 crore, the film’s two-day figure stands at an impressive INR 298.5 crore according to the producers. The two days gross in the range of 260 Cr originally. Vyjayanthi Movies, who bankrolled the project, has unveiled a poster regarding the same.

Trade experts predict a jump in collections on third day and fourth day but the high-profile cricket match between India and South Africa in the evening might effect a big . In spite of that, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to mint a staggering INR 500 crore in its opening weekend (first four days).

‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth Lavishes Praise On Kalki 2898 AD!

As expected by the Telugu audience, Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has emerged as the most talked-about film in recent times. From fans to media to celebrities, people are blown away by this Prabhas starrer.

Most recently, its our beloved Thalaiva who spoke highly off this film. In a tweet, Rajinikanth has lavished praise on the pillars of the project: Ashwini Dutt and Nag Ashwin. Calling it an epic film, he congratulated the major cast of the movies including Prabhas, Kamal Hassan, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

Talking about its numbers, Kalki 2898 AD has raked a total of INR 298.5 crore in its first two days of theatrical run. Going in the same pace, it is expected to mint a total of INR 550 crore in its opening weekend (first four days).

Shankar planned a cinematic universe?

Maverick Director, Shankar who is currently busy working for his Indian 2, sequel of Indian. The Director and the lead Actor Kamal Haasan participated in many press meets in the promotional activities for the film. The Director in these press meets revealed that he once had planned of a Cinematic Universe out of his previous films. This has shocked everyone now.

The Director told that he had attempted making a film with Indian lead character, Senapathy, Sivaji from Sivaji and Anil Kapoor from Nayak (remake of Oke Okkadu in Hindi). So, it could be only during Robo’s time that Director would have thought of bringing in these three characters for a film. The Director also told that she shared his idea with his assistants but they hadn’t liked the idea and eventually he had dropped it.

Shankar also said that he had seen Avengers afterwards which came up with the same idea. He also told that he advised his assistants to keep working on the ideas before someone else would start working on it. On the other hand, his Indian 2 is all set to release this July 12th worldwide. The songs and trailer of the film have released already.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan was put on hold for various reasons. The film, planned on a big scale featuring Pawan Kalyan in a periodic role was started long ago. But Pawan Kalyan due to his political affiliations stopped concentrating on the film. He had also put his other films, OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh on hold. Now with Pawan Kalyan’s recent success in his political journey, he must make sure Hari Hara Veera Mallu release in this year.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s digital rights were bought by Amazon Prime Video according to the producer of the film, A.M. Rathnam. He said that an agreement was made to release the film in this October. The Producer said that their team is contemplating to request the digital giant for a release in the December. Rathnam also felt that Pawan Kalyan’s presence for 20-25 days would complete the film’s shoot.

However, it has to be seen if Pawan Kalyan allots dates and time to this film. He is busy on his political activities in Andhra Pradesh as he took charge as the Deputy CM of the state. There are also two films lined up for him. Fans and Audience are also waiting eagerly for him to start shooting for these films.

Tollywood Director, SS Rajamouli had a good relation with Media Baron, Ramoji Rao who passed away recently. The Director worked as director for one of the TV serials of ETV, owned by Ramoji Rao. Rajamouli attended the commemoration event for Ramoji Rao held by the newly formed AP Government and wished for Bharat Ratna award for Ramoji Rao. However, this evoked a mixed response and didn’t go well with everyone.

There are many film celebrities who deserve Bharat Ratna. These celebrities contributed so much to the film Industry as well. Few of them were Legendary Actor, NTR, Director Dasari Narayana Rao and Singer, SP Balasubrahmanyam. Dasari Narayana Rao being the top Director of Tollywood never used the Government for his personal uses. Audience are trolling Rajamouli for demanding Bharat Ratna to only Ramoji Rao as these celebrities too were nothing short when compared to the Media Baron.

Rajamouli’s elder brother and noted Music Director, MM Keeravaani even went ahead and gave a political speech in this event. Kalki 2898 AD released amidst great hype and lived up to the expectations on the opening day. The film despite being a week day maintained a super strong hold on Day 2 in all the territories. The film saw a drop only in certain mass centers in Telugu States when compared to other territories. But the evening and night shows registered a massive occupancy. On Day 1, Kalki 2898 AD opened to a gross of 170 crores worldwide. On the Day 2, the film is expected to collect in the range of 90 crores worldwide which takes the total gross to 260 crores. Vijay delivers his first political speech

Tamil Actor, Vijay has finally given his first political speech. He established his political party, Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) recently and announced the same through his offical X/Twitter account. But he hasn’t yet talked as a politician after his party’s announcement. He communicated only through letter heads released from his party’s social media account. Today marks his first speech as a politician.

Vijay felicitated students who just topped their SSC and Intermediate education exams at a meet and greet event. He chose to speak about his views in this speech. The Actor urged the people to stay away from drug consumption. The Leo Actor also requested people to make new political leaders out of themselves for the state as well.
