Manamey OTT delayed due to fraud

Manamey starring Tollywood Actor Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty released this June. The film received good reviews and did average at the box office. The film would have arrived on the OTT platform by now but it seems the OTT release is delayed due to a fraud issue surrounding the film. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad spoke regarding this issue as well.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad, during an interview, said that they were cheated by someone in the non-theatrical business sector. He explained that they sold the film’s non-theatrical rights to an intermediary, but the intermediary did not sell the film to OTT platforms due to various reasons at that time. Instead, the same person sold other movies to OTT platforms while putting their film on hold. As a result, they did not receive the money from non-theatrical rights, leading to significant losses. The producer also mentioned that they had approached the court regarding the matter, as they lost 60-70% of their investment due to this fraud. This situation appears to be a serious issue.

So, Manamey will arrive on the OTT platform only after sorting out these issues which may take time. Audience who wanted to watch this on OTT must wait for some more time. Manamey as said attracted audience slowly after its release and got a positive talk. The film will definitely have good views after its OTT streaming. Let’s wait and see how the team sorts these issues and releases it on the OTT.

Following Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi’s harsh statements regarding the Telugu movie Kalki 2898 AD, the film’s director, Nag Ashwin, has finally spoken out. Warsi recently received a severe reaction for criticizing the film and its lead actor, Prabhas. Warsi bemoaned that he expected a “Mad Max and Mel Gibson” performance from Prabhas but received a “joker” instead.

Warsi’s words sparked rapid and broad criticism, particularly among Telugu film fans and industry people. Many people turned to social media to defend Prabhas and the film, expressing disappointment with Warsi’s comments and accusing him of denigrating the work of regional filmmakers.

Nani Reveals The Core Plot Of Saripodha Sanivaaram!

‘Natural Star’ Nani’s next venture, Saripodha Sanivaaram, will hit the big screens next Thursday. The promotions, including the theatrical trailer and songs, have created a good buzz around the film, and big opening numbers are expected on the first day.

In the latest media interview, Nani spoke about the USP of Saripodha Sanivaaram. Calling it ‘Unique’ from other films, he stated that it revolves around a hero and cop who live in a fictional town of Sokulapalem. He went on to say that the hero of the film is not a savior like other vigilante films.

The first glimpse was already out that showcased the ‘Rebel Star’ in a comical manner. It also stated that the film will hit the screens on 10th April, 2025. The next promotional content from the project will be a motion poster, followed by a teaser.

While the former will be unveiled on 1st September, the latter will arrive on the eve of Darling’s 45th birthday, i.e., 23rd October, 2024. Tollywood Actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with his VD12 directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, fame of Jersey. The film is a huge-budgeted one produced by Sithara Entertainments banner. It is learned that the film needs a voice over for certain scenes. Many Actors name have come forward for this voice over. Now, the news is NTR will voice over for Vijay Deverakonda for his upcoming film.

The production house, Sithara Entertainments is very close to NTR. The Actor even attended the success meet of Tillu Square which became a blockbuster hit. NTR’s film Devara’s Telugu States Theatrical rights were also bought by the production house. So, the actor must be approached for this voice over and he would have agreed readily. The team and Niharika are touring many theatres as part of promotions. In one of the theatres, Niharika said that Pawan Kalyan was not the Chief Minister but just a Deputy Chief Minister.

Fans who gathered during this interaction started shouting CM slogans with Pawan Kalyan’s name. Niharika looked like frustrated with the behaviour of fans. She instantly took the mic and calmed them saying that Pawan Kalyan was just a Deputy CM and the actual CM happens to be Chandrababu Naidu. This came a shocker to the fans and audience.
