The birth centenary celebrations of Legendary SR NTR are being planned in a grand way in the Telugu States. A 54-feet statue of NTR will be installed at Lakaram Tank Bund in Khammam. JR NTR will unveil the statue on May 28. Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar met NTR to invite him to the statue inauguration ceremony. The arrangements for the same were discussed by the both of them.
It is also being said that SR NTR’s statue will be in the form of Lord Krishna. According to the reports, the 54-feet-high statue, along with the basement, will have five feet of head, five feet of legs and 45 feet (0.01 km) of body part. The statue is being installed on top of a basement of 1,000 feet (0.3 km) with a width of 36 feet (0.01 km) in length. The cost of the statue is reportedly Rs 2.3 Crores.
The construction of the statue is proceeding at a rapid pace speed in the Khammam City. The huge statue, which will be seen from all corners of the city, will be a further attraction to the Lakaram Tank Bund. The statue will portray the TDP founder in ‘Krishnavataram’, one of the roles played by the legendary actor. Actually, the statue was to be inaugurated last year itself, but it was postponed because of the delay in the work.
On the work front, NTR is currently working on his 30th film. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is being produced by Mikkilineni Sudhakar and Hari Krishna K under the banners of Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The film marks Jahnvi Kapoor Telugu debut. Sreekar Prasad is the editor of the project. Anirudh Ravichandar is the music director. Ratnavelu is handling the cinematography and production design will be handled by Sabu Cyril. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is presenting this highly anticipated action entertainer. The film will be released worldwide on April 5th, 2024.
