Analyzing Shankar’s Approach To Ram Charan’s Game Changer : Is Poor Pre-Planning Causing Delays

Shankar is no doubt one of the best directors in the Indian Film Industry. He has mastered the art of mixing both commercial elements and social issues and created a unique form of storytelling.

And being in that top position comes with a few advantages. Shankar has always been able to maneuver his way around dates, schedules, and deadlines. Most of the producers have complained that Shankar always changes the shooting days and alters the budget after the start of the shoot.

Shankar never follows the estimation made during the pre-production phase is the most common complaint.

Owing to this, Shankar has also faced a lot of issues for Indian 2 with Lyca Productions. And even 2.0 is a loss venture for the same reasons. Now, it looks like Shankar has not learned from his previous errors. He is repeating the same mistakes even for Ram Charan’s Game Changer.

The film has gone into shooting a long while ago and still 80 days are left for the completion of the shoot. It may also not even be a surprise if the film is not completed in the year 2023. And if this happens, the film will get postponed to the 2024 Summer. Shankar really needs to take a look at this and speed up the shooting process.
