The project was originally planned for January 9, 2026. It was then postponed to June 25, 2026, and has now been rescheduled to June 11, 2027. The makers confirmed the June 2027 date most recently, marking the second major postponement for the high-budget action drama.

Multiple production factors contributed to the extended timeline. Prashanth Neel took additional time before commencing the shoot. After filming a few initial scenes, he reportedly spent considerable time on script rewrites.
Meanwhile, NTR focused on his physical transformation for the demanding role. The combination of creative rework and the actor’s preparation phase added several months to the production schedule.
Buzz About Two-Part Format
Industry sources suggest the team may have decided to split the film into two parts. There is buzz that both parts are being shot simultaneously, similar to the approach taken for Dhurandhar, with plans to release the second part within six months of the first.
This ambitious production strategy could explain why NTR and Prashanth Neel announced a release date more than a year away. However, no official confirmation has been made regarding the two-part format yet.
