NTR fans have taken legal action against the rising menace of AI-generated deepfake content, filing a formal police complaint about morphed images and videos featuring the Devara star.

Fan Leader Meets Top Police Official

Nandipati Murali, a dedicated NTR fan, personally met with Sajjanar IPS to address the alarming rise of NTR AI deepfake content. Taking to social media, Murali shared details of the productive meeting:

“Personally met and spoke to respected Sajjanar IPS garu regarding the recent rise of AI-morphed and edited videos.

He responded promptly, assigned a special team to look into the matter and assured that he will personally monitor the issue. Grateful for your prompt response and support.

A big thank you to TFDC Chairman Dil Raju garu for the swift response and for making this meeting possible.”

The complaint comes as deepfake technology continues to plague the entertainment industry, with several South Indian actresses taking legal action against AI-generated fake content in recent months.

NTR’s Earlier Stand Against Deepfakes

NTR himself had strongly condemned the sexually explicit, AI-generated deepfake video that manipulated footage of his co-star, Janhvi Kapoor, from their popular song “Chuttamalle” in the film Devara: Part 1. The actor’s vocal opposition to such content has now been backed by organized fan action.

The assignment of a special police team to investigate AI-morphed content targeting NTR marks a significant step in addressing the deepfake crisis affecting Telugu cinema personalities. With actresses like Mrunal Thakur also issuing legal warnings over similar misuse, the industry is taking a unified stand against AI-generated fake content.
