Post RRR release last year, many NTR fans felt that their star was neglected both script-wise and elevations-wise. Many neutral audiences also felt that the script had more scope for Ram Charan and even the climax portion was entirely owned by the Mega Power Star while NTR was relegated to an anchor role.
Even on a pan-India level, Rama Charan’s portrayal of Ram received better applause than Bheem. National media also referred Ram more in comparison to Bheem.
Several NTR fans even ran campaigns on social media against SS Rajamouli for providing NTR with a less prominent role than Charan. However, it all seems to have taken a sudden turn now and with RRR achieving global acclaim, several new audience and western journalists have showered heaps of praises for NTR and in many cases, the acclaim has surpassed that received by Charan.
It is to be noted that Tarak’s performance even during the release received rave reviews and his performance throughout the movie was top-notch. Komaram Bheemudo song, his introduction sequence, Interval scenes, and many other moments were a feast for the eyes and proved his acting capabilities yet again.
