Ram Charan’s pan-India stardom after the humongous success of RRR has reached to unimaginable levels. The Mega hero, in fact, has earned great accolades in USA and Japan as well. His social media followers and brand value have shot up tremendously this year thanks to RRR.
The actor however was quick to point out in an event earlier today that this stardom and brand of hero or director doesn’t matter at all. ‘Content is the only thing that matters. Right after RRR, my another film was released, in which I had a small cameo. Nobody watched that,’ said Charan referring to Acharya.
This statement has surprised many as Charan had a substantial role in the film and it wasn’t exactly a cameo. In addition to this, the film featured Megastar Chiranjeevi and was directed by Koratala Siva which by no means is a small movie. Made on a big budget, Acharya emerged as an all-time disaster in Chiranjeevi and Charan’s career.
Both Chiru and Charan have distanced themselves from the Acharya and have indirectly pinned the entire blame on Koratala much to the amusement of all. Charan will next be seen in Shankar’s big-budget project RC15. It will also star Kiara Advani and SS Thaman is composing tunes. The film’s shoot is on at the moment and several schedules have been wrapped up all over India.
