2020 Sankranthi was the biggest season for Tollywood as two movies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo have made some unbelievable numbers at the box office and both films are still holding Non SSR top1 and top2 positions until now.
The combined share of both movies will be close to 300 crores. And the movies have run for more than one month which tells about the long run they had because even after the festival also both the movies delivered excellent numbers.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Starring Stylish star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde had a Sensational run at the box office. They sold theatrical rights of the film for 85 Crores, and it Collected a non Baahubali record share of over 159 crores. The film brought Massive Profits to all the involved parties. The film was directed by Trivikram and produced by Haarika Hassine and Geetha arts.
Sarileru Neekevvaru, Starring Super star Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna was too a Blockbuster run at Box Office. They sold the theatrical rights of the film for 101.05 Crores. It has collected over 138 Crores share, which is highest in the career of Mahesh Babu. The film was directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju, Mahesh Babu.
No Sankranthi has repeated the magic which Sankranthi 2020 had produced, coming to this Sankranthi Veera Simha Reddy has already dropped after festival while Waltair Veerayya is still maintaining the good momentum at the box office.
