Netflix Strikes Again: Acquires Vijay’s GOAT Film
Competition between films is not only in theaters; there is also a strong competition for films in OTT as well. Whichever OTT partner buys movies with good buzz, they get more viewership. Currently, the top three OTT platforms are Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney Hotstar.
But it must be said that Amazon Prime Video and Disney Hotstar are struggling to compete with Netflix. Netflix buys big movies in India. Big-budget movies like Animal, Leo, Salaar, Guntur Kaaram, Hi Nanna, and Dunki are streaming on Netflix. With music by the renowned Yuvan Shankar Raja and production by AGS Entertainment. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 31, 2024.
