Netflix, the global OTT giant, is all set to open its second office in India at Hyderabad, the country’s major VFX hub. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the facility on March 12.
Location and Facility Details
The new office is situated in HITEC City at CapitaLand International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH). The facility spans approximately 30,000 to 41,000 square feet, making it a significant expansion for the streaming giant.
This marks Netflix’s only other office in India after their headquarters in Mumbai. The Hyderabad hub is expected to give a major boost to the city’s animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics (AVGC) sector.
Focus on Telugu Content and South Indian Cinema
With the office positioned near the Telugu film industry hub, Netflix aims to deepen collaborations with South Indian filmmakers. The facility will accelerate production of regional language content while serving as a Global VFX Hub and Capability Centre.
The move signals Netflix’s growing investment in Indian content, particularly from Tollywood and other South Indian film industries.
