With continues bad results in recent times, Nagarjuna has planned Naa Sami Ranga for Sankranthi release and the team put massive efforts to complete the shoot in three months but still before the release time the film faced a few issues.
The Producer of the film had some financial issue as business was not happened so he wanted to postpone the film. But Nagarjuna wanted a Sankranthi release at any cost. He took over the theatrical rights of the film and, with his relations, he closed the non-theatrical business also, which made the producer get handsome profits.
As said above, today the movie has released in theaters worldwide and opened with decent word of mouth and reviews which resulted in extraordinary openings at the box office. The same trend will continue for the next 3–4 days easily, and it will be a blockbuster film as break even in Telugu states is just 15 Cr, which can be easily achievable in the 1st week itself.

Allari Naresh played an important role in the film and Raj Tarun appeared in another supporting role in the film. Ashika Ranganath played the female lead role alongside Nagarjuna. MM Keeravani has composed the music and Srinivasaa Chitturi is the producer. Shabeer Kallarakkal, Mirnaa, Rao Ramesh, and Rukshar Dhillon played the other important roles.
