The issue regarding ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh(AP) has been going on for quite a while now. Actors like Nani, Pawan Kalyan, Nikhil have expressed their concern regarding the issue. Director Ram Gopal Varma has also efficiently expressed his views as to why this is wrong.

But no efforts by the industry leaders have managed to break AP CM Jagan who is hellbent on his decision. Now, Nagarjuna’s distasteful comments on the AP ticket rates have further added fuel to the fire.

Producers and Distributors have incurred major losses due to this new scheme and many theatres have shut down as well. Recently, Nani also gave back his remuneration for Shyam Singha Roy to pay back the loss incurred due to poor ticket rates.

In view of this, when a top actor like Nagarjuna comments distastefully on the ticket rates in AP, it tarnishes the efforts of the other actors.

The AP government can also pull out a new trick, justifying the ticket rates through Nagarjuna. They will use his comments to show that when there is no issue for a leading actor like Nagarjuna then why is there an issue for the others. This will further cause a divide in the industry.

The AP government also has an opportunity to group a set of actors and tell everyone that only these actors have an issue with the rates.

Nani has been getting targeted repeatedly by the AP government and this will further help the government to attack him. They can say that why does Nani need a higher rate when Nagarjuna is okay with it.
