Nagarjuna is quite keen on getting his film Naa Saami Ranga to release only for Sankranthi. He does not want to move the film to any other date as he wants to deliver a blockbuster and feels Sankranthi season would deliver that for sure. Naa Saami Ranga seems to be a good commercial package with a star cast also featuring Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun among others.
Naa Saami Ranga team has put a lot of effort into completing the shooting on time and has continuously worked day and night to ensure a Sankranti release. The promotional content is also working fine but the issue is the movie is not getting enough theatres to release. In C&D centers all theatres are already locked for other movies and there is no chance for Naa Saami Ranga and even in A, B Centers where there is tough competition.
Nagarjuna is reportedly unhappy with this and has expressed the same to the producers. Now producers and distributors are meeting to sort out these issues and also to discuss about release date and planning.
