It is known that Mahesh’s father and real Superstar Krishna Garu passed away in 2022. He also lost his mother and brother in the same year. With the death of his father, Mahesh was away from shooting for many days. So, when he saw his fans after a longtime at today’s pre-release event of Guntur Kaaram, that pain in Mahesh was seen while he spoke about the film.

“Sankranthi has been excellent for me and my father. Every film released at that time became a blockbuster. This time, too, we will score a hit. But this time it was a little new. Because every time the film is released, I was thrilled to call and talk to my father about the movie’s collections and records. I used to wait for that phone call from him every time.
Because it was for the sake of his words that I worked so hard in the movies. But from now on, he is no longer there to say all of that. From now on, you (referring to his fans) have to say all those things to me. From now on, you all are my mother, my father, you are my everything. I wish to have your blessings always for me.” He also thanked the fans by saying, “I can’t do anything except raise my hands and bow down to you for the love you have showered on me for 25 years.”
