Lokesh-Vijay film is getting record theatrical and not theatrical offers

After the massive success of their last film Master, Kollywood star Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj are joining hands for Thalapathy 67. The film is being made amidst massive hype as Lokesh has just delivered blockbuster success in form of Vikram.

The film’s shoot has not started yet still the brand of Lokesh and Vijay along with Lokesh Cinematic Universe is driving massive business around the film. For theatrical and nontheatrical, the movie is getting record offers now. The OTT rights are said to be closed already by Netflix at a high rate. Distributors are already in the race for all areas with and the film is expected to do more than 400Cr business.

Thalapathy 67 will star Samantha opposite Vijay. The duo has earlier shared screen space in blockbusters like Katthi, Theri, and Mersal. Hence there are massive expectations for the return of the successful star combo.

Vijay, meanwhile is busy with his next project with Vamsi Paidipally and the project with Lokesh will go on floors by the end of this year. Vijay is reportedly playing a gangster from Mumbai in this film while Sanjay Dutt is playing the antagonist’s role.
