Sudheer, who has earned good fame on the small screen came back to the big screen with Gaalodu last week. His previous movies like Software Sudheer, and Wanted Pandugod failed to deliver him success and he had pinned a lot of hopes on Gaalodu to deliver him a major hit.
Much to his relief, the film has emerged as a major success. After a good 1st weekend, The film maintained a very good hold on weekdays, especially in B&C Centers, and went super strong with good occupancies in many centers. All the involved parties achieved the breakeven mark in 5 days. Total 5 days gross is close to 5.5 Cr.
The movie has collected over 1.6 crores in gross collections on the opening day. The day 2 numbers were bigger than Day 1 and the 3rd days saw collections on par with the opening day. In fact, on the first weekend, Gaalodu surpassed Samantha’s Yashoda in terms of collection.
Directed by Raja Sekhar Reddy, the film stars Gehna Sippy in the lead role opposite Sudheer. Shakalaka Shankar and Prudvi also feature in supporting roles.
