The humungous success of Vikram has propelled Lokesh Kanagaraj into the big league. The young director is one of the most in-demand South Indian directors and has some pretty exciting projects lined up.
He has an excellent market in southern states and is looking to create an equally big impact in the Hindi market as well. This is why, for his upcoming film with Vijay, he has roped in Sanjay Dutt as the villain. The film will release in 2023 and is one of the most talked about projects in Kollywood.
The film will also star Samantha and Priyanka Arul Mohan in key roles. Thalapathy 67 is currently in its filming stage and if reports are to be believed, Sanjay Dutt has been offered a whopping Rs 10 crores fees for playing the antagonist in the project.
Post this film with Vijay, there are also talks of Kaithi 2 with Karthik and a sequel to Kamal Haasan’s Vikram. If these projects manage to cash in on the hype and deliver the content as expected, then there’s no stopping Lokesh Kanagaraj.
