Leo is on track to become the first Kollywood film to open with over 100 Crores

Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming crazy film, Leo, is all set to become the first Kollywood film to open with over 100 Crores. The film is registering sensational advance bookings in Overseas. The overseas pre bookings are already at the 2M and in Kerala, a record number of fan shows are planned as well with the extraordinary demand for tickets. 

In Overseas the film is expected to open with 5.5M+ gross, which will be more than 45Cr opening and in Kerala, the film is expected to be a record opener and the early estimates stand at 8Cr+ gross and the film is expected to open in the same range in Karnataka as well.

In Telugu States, the trade is expecting a double-digit opening. In Tamil Nadu, if there are early premiers then it definitely will collect in the range of 35Cr range opening for the film. With the help from Rest Of India, the film will have a 100% chances to become the first ever 100Cr+ opener worldwide for a Kollywood film.

The return of the Vijay – Trisha combo after 15 long years is another highlight of the film. The duo last worked together in Kuruvi (2008). Leo is also a second collaboration between Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master. The film further features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautam Vasudev Menon, and Sandy in key roles with Anirudh Ravichander composing the tunes. Lalith Kumar has produced the film, Leo, under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.
