Vijay’s Leo was released last week and received mostly mixed reviews and not-so-positive word of mouth. The majority of the audience felt that this film was not on par with the other LCU films and even the connection that was established with LCU was quite underwhelming.

Leo crossed Vikram collections yesterday and is on its path to cross Ponniyin Selvan collections. This is a record-breaking first week for Leo and it has entered the list of Kollywood all-time top four grossers.
Leo marks the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after ‘Master’. This film has a screenplay written by Lokesh, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. The action entertainer boasts an ensemble cast including Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon in pivotal roles. Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, and several others were seen in supporting roles.
