Veteran Tollywood actor and Navarasa Natana Saarvabhouma Kaikaala Satyanarayana Garu passed away today. He has been ill for a few days, as we know. He breathed his last today at his residence in Film Nagar.
Many actors from the Telugu Film Industry conveyed their condolences to Kaikala Satyanarayana Garu.
In a career spanning over 60 years, Satyanarayana has acted in many films as a villain, character artist and comedian too.He entered the industry in 1959 with the film ‘Sipaayi Kooturu’. He was last seen in ‘NTR Kadhanayakudu’. Furthermore, he has acted in over 770 films. His father’s name is Kaikala Lakshminarayana.
Born in 1935, Satyanarayana’s native place is Gudlavallur in Krishna district, Kauthavaram mandal. Kaikala Satyanarayana completed his primary and upper primary education in Gudivada, Vijayawada and graduated from Gudivada College.
He was married to Nageswaramma on April 10, 1960. He has two daughters and two sons. In 1996, he entered politics and contested as a Telugu Desam Party candidate from Machilipatnam constituency and was elected to the 11th Lok Sabha.
Kaikala Satyanarayana’s last rites will be performed tomorrow at Mahaprasthanam.
