Kota Srinivasa Rao recalls Balakrishna’s outrageous behaviour

Kota Srinivasa Rao is one of the senior-most and well-respected actors in Tollywood. The senior character actor has given many memorable performances in a career spanning over 4 decades. The actor however in a recent television interview recalled an incident that shocked him and many around him. The incident featured none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna who spat on the his face in a hotel lobby.

Reportedly, Balakrishna was unhappy with Kota Srinivasa Rao portraying NTR’s role in the controversial film Mandaladheesudu. The movie projected NTR, who was the then CM in a negative shade and it was not taken well by Balakrishna.

Recalling the incident, Kota said that he came face to face with Balayya in a hotel lobby and when he greeted the actor, he spat on his face and left the place.

Interestingly, Kota in the same interview revealed that when he came face to face with NTR back then, the latter patted on his back and appreciated his work.

This incident now joins a list of outrageous acts by the mercurial Balayya who is well known for his temper and aggressive actions.
