Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan released last week to poor reviews and scattered occupancies. The film was thrashed by critics for its sub-par writing and silly narration. A remake of Ajith’s Veeram, this film was also made in Telugu as Katamrayudu in 2017 starring Pawan Kalyan.
The Hindi version saw some changes and Venkatesh’s role as the brother of Pooja Hegde was a change from the original. The film had a very slow start and picked the momentum on Ramzan day and on Sunday, it maintained the same level marking a good weekend in mass centers.
In cities and A centers, the movie had a very poor weekend overall and collected 68Cr Nett[80Cr gross]. Overseas, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has collected around 31Cr gross bringing overall the worldwide gross is Rs111Cr gross.
Besides Salman Khan and Pooja Hedge and Venkatesh, the film also starred Bhumika Chawla, Palak Tiwari, Shahnaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Jassi Gill, Siddharth Nigam, and Vijender Singh in key roles. The film, directed by Farhad Samji, also has cameo appearances by Ram Charan and Yo Yo Honey Singh respectively.
