KH234, Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Officially Begins: Scroll down the Technical crew team details. We previously reported that Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam will be reunited for a movie 35 years after their acclaimed gangster film Nayakan. The film’s team recently gathered for its launch event, and the makers released a clip that shared the technical crew details of the yet-to-be-titled film.
Produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, the film will feature the director’s usual collaborators, music composer AR Rahman, and editor Sreekar Prasad.
Ravi K Chandran, who has previously worked on films by Mani Ratnam, such as Kannathil Muthamittal and Aayutha Ezhuthu, is in charge of the camera work for KH234. As action choreographers, the Anbariv masters, who worked with Kamal on Vikram, have been hired. Sharmishta Roy and Ekha Lakhani have been hired as production and costume designers, respectively.
Although cast details are yet to be announced, the buzz is that the film will have Trisha, Dulquer Salmaan, and Jayam Ravi in essential roles. KH234 is expected to be released on screens in 2024. Check out the announcement video:
