H Vinoth after Thunivu narrated a story to Kamal Haasan which he liked. Vinoth spent full time on that script as per plan it had to go sets this year. But Kamal Haasan had already committed Maniratnam’s film, Kalki and Indian 2 divided into two parts. All these affected Vinoth’s film finally it was shelved. The subject was based on politics and would have suited Kamal Haasan’s image.
Now the buzz is that this script has gone to Vijay. The discussion has already taken place between Vijay and Vinoth. Vijay has already announced that his next film will be the last of his career and he will focus on politics after that. So there has been a huge anticipation ever since to find out who will be directing the last film.
Vijay is undoubtedly in the best form of his career with continuous commercial successes. Currently, he is busy with the film, GOAT (Greatest of All-Time) which is slated for June release and directed by Venkat Prabhu. This film is a time – traveling thriller.
Till now the buzz was that Karthik Subbaraj was the frontrunner for this last Thalapathy film. Now Vinoth has also joined the list.
