Amidst a bunch, of Tollywood and Kollywood biggies, this Sankranti will also see the release of Kalyanam Kamaneeyam starring Santosh Shoban and Priya Bhavani Shankar on January 14th. Anil Kumar Alla is directing this romantic entertainer.
The film’s censor formalities were completed today and as expected it has received U certification. However, the surprising part is the film’s runtime. Kalyanam Kamaneeyam has a runtime of just 106 minutes which has surprised many. Normally audience might not show any interest in such runtime. But a festival release and a good runtime might help out the film.
It will be a tough task for Kalyanam Kamaneeyam to conquer Sankranti and only a terrific word of mouth and great content can help it sustain against Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, Thunivu and Varisu.
The film also features Devi Prasad, Pavitra Lokesh, Satyam Rajesh, Sapthagiri, and Saddam in supporting roles. Sravan Bharadwaj has composed the film’s music while it is backed by UV Concepts.
