After the blockbuster success of Vikram, Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 has seen a revival and will go on floors soon. Kajal Agarwal will be seen opposite the senior actor in this film. The film was earlier reported to be shelved due to massive differences between Kamal Haasan, Shankar, and Lyca Productions. In addition, the project also faced Covid issues and legal proceedings one after another.
Now with every issue sorted fans and industry insiders are eagerly waiting for this massive project. Kajal Agarwal will be playing the lead role in this film. There were rumours that the actress is being replaced by someone else. However, she dispelled all rumours by posting an exciting update regarding the movie on Instagram.
“Resuming #Indian2 shooting from 13th September,” she said on Instagram live much to the relief of her fans.
The makers are planning to release the film for Diwali 2023. Shankar is currently occupied with the shooting of Ram Charan’s RC15. As soon as that is covered, he will direct his attention to Indian 2.
