Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan is undoubtedly the most awaited Bollywood film of the year. The Bollywood king has just delivered an industry hit with Pathaan earlier this year and if the advance bookings and hype of this upcoming action entertainer directed by Atlee are to be considered, Jawan is going to make a smashing opening at the box office.
Currently, Adipurush holds the record of the biggest opener of this year with 120Cr+ gross. Pathaan holds the tag of all-time record opener for Bollywood with 100Cr+ gross. On the other hand, Jawan’s advance bookings are trending on a sensational note and it will easily break Pathaan’s opening becoming the record opener for Bollywood. It is also on the way to breaking Adipurush opening and will be the record opener for Indian cinema this year.
Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma under Shahrukh’s own banner Red Chillies Entertainment while it is directed by Atlee. Along with SRK, it also stars Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupati in key roles. The film will be released in theaters worldwide on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
