Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan has achieved another milestone. The film has already established itself as the new Bollywood industry hit and became the second 1000 crore grosser for the Bollywood King in the same year after Pathaan.
The film has collected a gross of 1120 Cr worldwide till now and the producer share is at around 480Cr. Apart from this, the OTT, Satellite and music rights have fetched the makers a whopping 270Cr which marks total returns to producer at 750Cr. This is the highest ever for a Bollywood film. Shahrukh Khan’s home production Red Chillies Entertainment has ended up with record profits with this action entertainer.
Co-written and directed by Atlee, Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film, which was released on September 7, stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as father and son, who team up to fight corruption.
Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are seen alongside him in lead roles. Deepika Padukone also makes a special appearance in Jawan, featuring Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra, among others. The film’s soundtrack and background score were composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
