According to the latest buzz in Bollywood media, the Lady Superstar Nayanthara is said to have received a significant offer from the B Town has it is being reported that she has been approached to play one of the major roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Baiju Bawra. It is widely known that the actress has just made her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan which became a massive blockbuster at the box office.
Reportedly Nayanthara is said to be considering the offer, but she has not yet signed or confirmed it. Since the actress was spotted at the filmmaker’s office earlier this year, there have been speculations about a collaboration between Nayanthara and Bhansali.
In 1952, Vijay Bhatt made Baiju Bawra, which featured Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari as the main characters. In the story of Baiju Bawra, which translates to ‘Crazy Baiju’, a young singer named Baiju challenges the great singer Tansen in a musical competition. Baiju believes Tansen is responsible for his father’s death and his sole purpose is to defeat the respected singer and revenge his father.
According to reports, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will play the lead roles in Bhansali’s version of the film. The two stars were recently on-screen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani directed by Karan Johar.
