For a few days the news of NTR joining the YRF’s Spy Universe has been the talk of the town in the Telugu Film Industry. Many of his fans and other audience are excited to see him share the screen space with Hrithik Roshan.

Being part of a big Bollywood Film after an epic success like RRR can really help him to take his market to the bigger level. However, another side of the argument is that NTR acting in War 2 could be proven as a big risk which is true in some ways.

Because the YRF Spyverse is not that popular compared to the likes of Baahubali or KGF Series. The second parts of both KGF and Baahubali were a sensation nationwide.

Now we cannot say the same with the YRF Spy Universe as the films from this universe are popular only in Hindi and no movie from this series has clicked in a big way in other language markets. Only some set of audience from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam has watched movies from this universe.

There is no doubt that with the addition of NTR in this universe will be a huge plus for them as now they can get big revenue from the Southern markets but the question is how beneficial this film will be for NTR. By signing War 2 NTR will raise a few more steps in Bollywood however, we need to wait and see how this film will perform in southern languages.

Especially in the Telugu markets, it will be not easy for War 2 to match the same kind of performance like the Other movies of NTR. Only time can tell whether this move by NTR is a risk or not.
